This was more of a nostalgia buy for me rather than a necessity. Brooks was the first running shoe to inspire me to competitively run long distance. Unfortunately, these days, sciatica has put a stop to my long distance running. Fortunately, the corporation I worked for was looking out for me in the Medical Insurance Department. If only Space Commander Bezos could do the same for his people. Some companies think their employees are more important than their useless hobbies.

I love these sneakers. Although they are hiking sneakers they perform well anywhere. Great colors. Very stable foot bed.
