Estou encantada. Testei outras máquinas de costura de outra marca com que fiquei desiludida. Esta máquina é muito boa. Eu já conheço a quallidade das Brother em costura e bordado porque tneho brother innovis de bordar.Por uma excelente relação quallidade preço estou muito satisfeita.O ruído é suave. As funções e opções de cada ponto escolhido são muito versáteis e podemos criar muito na costura com elas.Indicada desde principiantes e pessoas com experiencia,em costura.Obrigada Brother e excelente serviço Anazon. e de entrega pois chegou em perfeito estado.

Ich bin halb Anfängerin. Hab mit der alten Maschine meiner Oma begonnen, aber die war mir zu kompliziert u ich wollte etwas Neues .Hab mich für diese Maschine entschieden u habe es nicht bereut. Für meine Näharbeiten eignet sie sich super u das nähen macht doppelt soviel Spaß.

I had a New Home sewing machine back in the early 80’s when I was a teenager, my lovely Aunt got me one when I started a dressmaking course at college. I’m in my 50’s now and that machine has finally bit the dust, so I decided to invest in a new machine. I didn’t need anything too fancy but a reliable machine that can sew most materials with a double needle and fully automatic buttonhole ability. This Brother machine ticked all the boxes for me, I also did a little research and this one came up well thought of in reviews and even a sewing club review. It has 40 stitch designs including overlocking an important stitch for many fabric edges. I’ve used it so far on making a skirt and for sewing pieces of my machine knitted garments, like this baby cardigan in my photo here. I really like the brightly lit screen showing me clearly what stitch number I’m using and even advises what presser foot to use. It’s smart too and won’t sew if you haven’t got the presser foot down. I love the automatic sewing without the foot pedal, a big advance in sewing machines, the light is good too, especially as an LED rather than a bulb. The sewing machine has lots of extra presser feet and very easy to put on and off (no fiddly screws) too. All in all I recommend this Brother sewing machine, it’s build though plastic feels sturdy yet light, my only criticism is Brother should supply it with a better cover, the one it comes with is flimsy, but I’ve bought a sewing machine bag from John Lewis (measure the machine before you buy one, sewing bags do vary in size).UPDATE ON NEEDLE THREADINGI noticed someone ask about threading the needle on this sewing machine, honestly it’s really easy once you know how, you need a cheap plastic needle threader, I got two free when I purchased some thread from Amazon, see my photos to see what it is. I bent the fine metal part (that’s diamond shaped) down so I could hold it to thread the needle on the machine. Then hold the plastic bit of the needle threader and push the fine metal part through the eye of the needle from the BACK (that’s bits important) once pushed through take your thread and push it in between the metal diamond shape, hold the end of the thread and pull the needle threader backwards and out of the eye of the needle, it will pull the thread through the eye of the needle as it goes, keep pulling until it all through. Das Gerät kam ausschließlich mit englischsprachiger Anleitung. Der mitgelieferte Stecker hat kein deutsches Format - selbst der Verkäufer im Elektromarkt war nicht in der Lage zu bestimmen, in welchem Land der Welt der wohl passen könnte - Europa und die USA konnten durch Vergleich mit einem Auslandsadapter ausgeschlossen werden. Optisch und haptisch Plastik pur! Gerät ging ungenutzt zurück! 2 Sterne für die gewohnt perfekte Amazon-Prime-Lieferqualität. Kein Stern für den Paketinhalt!

I bought this article for my wife (I am the amazon buyer in our home). Now she is using it since November 2016.She had till now experience with another famous american brand. She tried a couple of machines different models (not for professional use for sure and for a price She would buy it again.

Brother fs40. L'ho scelta in base alle mie necessità. Leggerezza, silenziosità, possibilità di fare qualche ricamino.... tutte cose che la mia cara Necchi vecchietta e meccanica non aveva. Dopo tre settimane, posso dire che LA ADORO. Fantastica sorpresa è stato il tasto per cucire senza pedale che giuro non me lo aspettavo. Per il resto finora corrisponde alle mie aspettative ed oltre... Sono felicissima. Devo solo trovare tempo per darci dentro.... ottimo sistema asole con il piedino apposito, copetrina di plastica per ripararla, tre velocità di cucito impostabili a mano, manuale d'uso semplicissimo in italiano e un sacco di altre lingue, che dire la consiglio.

La machine est fournie avec 7 pieds de biche (boutonnières, surjet, monogrammes, fermetures à glissière, ourlet invisible, boutons et zig-zag "(ce dernier est sur la machine)A cela s'ajoute un découd-vite, 4 canettes en plastiques (dont 1 sur la machine), un jeu d'aiguilles dont une "double" et une à pointe boule.L'aiguille double et l'ajout du porte-bobine supplémentaire (à poser sur le bobineur de canette et livré avec la machine), permet de piquer 2 coutures parallèlesSur la face de la machine est affiché l'illustration du point et sa référence (39 points proposés). Quand on a choisi le point, dans le cadran digital, apparait la lettre de référence du pied de biche à utiliser pour la réalisation de ce point (et cette lettre est gravée sur chacun des pieds de biche)!J'ai aussi apprécié le mode d'emploi ou tout est super bien expliqué (pour ceux ou celles qui préfèrent, il y a un DVD)Je conseille vivement de lire ce mode d'emploi. En dehors de savoir comment utiliser la machine, découverte des possibilités de cette petite merveille.Question canettes, perso, j'ai préféré m'assurer et j'ai racheté des canettes. (dimensions et une représentation graphique pour la Brother FS40 est disponible sur le site de Matri).J'avais initialement vu la proposition de vente de cette machine, la veille ->"expédiée par Amazon et Matri". Mais le lendemain, quand j'ai voulu la commander, seule Matri était encore mentionné. Sur le coup, j'étais déçue car je ne connaissais pas ce fournisseur et la mention de la collaboration d'Amazon me rendait plus confiante.Mais après avoir consulté le site et lu les évaluations de ce fournisseur, j'ai bien passé la commande via Amazon (20 euros moins cher à ce moment-là ! Merci Amazon !)Pour ma commande de canettes et d'aiguilles, je l'ai faite directement via le fournisseur Matri. Livraison rapide et correcte. Mes questions posées par mail ont reçus des réponses claires et rapides (- de 24h chrono). Ils m'ont notamment répondu que la machine pouvait être utilisée avec des cônes. Il suffisait d'acheter un petit support de cônes (simple ou double) à poser à côté de la machine (exemples visibles notamment sur le site d'Amazon)

Je suis débutante en couture, et j'aimerais me mettre, entre autre, à la confection de vêtements. Je m'étais donc renseignée sur des forums avant de faire mon achat et m'étais laissé guider par l'avis d'une ou deux couturières chevronnées. J'ai reçu la machine il y a deux jours, et je ne suis pas déçue. La notice et le DVD d'utilisation sont très bien faits (en deux matinées, j'ai testé et retenu les grandes fonctions de la machine: couture "classique", en arrière, surjet, boutonnière, points invisibles pour faire des ourlets). Ce n'est d'autant pas difficile que la machine est très intuitive (des schémas sont dessinés sur la machine pour retenir comment enfiler les fils, c'est génial). Pour le prix, je ne m'attendais pas à tout ça. Maintenant, à voir ce que ça donnera dans quelques mois! Mais pour le moment, je suis sous le charme!
