I have purchased about 30 BRVSK needlepoint projects and have been totally satisfied with each one. The canvases are always perfectly printed, never off-kilter, so it's much easier to execute the design without compensating for crooked canvas printing.Although working with wool yarn is lovely, the acrylic yarn that is supplied is substantial enough that the pieces look impressive when completed. I'm really impressed with the quality of the BRVSK pieces!

this would not be for beginners. It has many colors to be integrated in the whole rooster itself. It was hard to match the color indicators on the bottom key with the color in the Rooster and with the yarn itself.. I would suggest to MFG that they include a strip of yarn on the key so one could match easily. The yarns are not always consistent in weight or 'diameters', Thin in some spot and thicker down the shaft in others. also I noted that there were some spots on yean that seem to have a glup of 'paste" which stuck in the hole while pulling through the holes. I am an amateur and not OCD about the above, but it was noteworthy.

I love these kits- I am on #4, the Rooster! I have another to start soon (London). & I order the backings offered & they are perfect. I had to stop crocheting due to artheritis, & this is a good sub. Only complaint is the quality of the white yarn, it gets fuzzy fast-so I do it last. I make pillows for kids-grandkids, & they like them. Also a good price compared to other places. Happy customer here!
