Pretty darned colorful I must say. Totally whimsical, fun to put together and while I found it to be outside the norm of what I usually am attracted to, I have to admit it’s grown on me. Just an fyi, get yourself better sequins as many of these Bucilla kits come with subpar sequins and you will also need stuffing to complete.

Bought this wreath as a gift for my sister-in law. She collects owl art. I plan to make this wreath for her birthday - September 2023. The colours are vivid the instructions are very straight forward and easy to read and everything you need is given to you in this kit. I know she will love it once I have completed the project and give it to er as her gift.

I get some lovely compliments about it on our door and I have ended up making another three for family members, plus the fact I have just ordered another to make for my sister. The hardest part for me is making the actual circular wreath itself, I don’t use poster board just really stiff cardboard, just follow the instructions. The owls themselves and leaves etc are a doddle to make and very enjoyable to do.

Just starting this kit right now and I'm very excited about it. This will be my third Bucilla felt kit and I want to give some tips for beginners. I went through 3 christmas tree ornaments and a christmas stocking this year and I wouldn't say it was easy for a beginner, who is not experienced in such type of crafting. So what should you expect?1. Beads and sequins are really tiny. For the reference - beads are about or less than 1/8 of inch in diameter.2. For this wreath you will need to buy:- polyester fiberfill to fill the wreath itself. You can use leftover felt, but it won't give you even surface on big items.- 2 chenille sticks for stems to help them hold their shape.- poster board or thick cardstock for the wreath itself.- optional - decorative cording to hang the wreath. You are supposed to make the cording on your own from threads, but I wasn't successful with this for christmas ornaments. Cording turned out flimsy and didn't look good, it was falling apart. Maybe it was me, but this can happen with any beginner.3. For convenient storage of beads and threads you can purchase any bead storage system. I use one with 24 small round plastic jars from walmart. It was cheap, but works for me.4. When you work with beads they tend to fall from your hands and it is really hard to catch them and even locate. The best way, as for me - placing them on a piece of felt into a flat paper plate and working above this plate, so that they will fall in it and you won't search through your carpet.5. Take some time to read all instructions for the kit before making anything. You will be able to assume if suggested sequencing is convenient for you.Overall this kit will be more convenient for beginner, because felt pieces are rather big, much bigger, than you will find in ornaments, so they are easier to work with.Colors are bright, designs are really pretty and I hope it will turn out really nice! Good luck to you with this beautiful wreath!
