This is my first bib and I will never go back to pants again. I don't understand why people say these run small, they don't. They actually run larger than the size chart on Burton's website. Please don't rely on your jeans waist measurement, do measure your waist with a tape measure where your pants naturally sit. Do it naked and without compressing the waist line.My jeans are 34 waist but my natural waist measurement as described above is 40" which puts me at the upper limit of XL according to Burton size chart. I've got the XL and I'm surprised to see that I still need a belt with these. I probably could have gone with a size L (which is what I usually wear), but these are extremely comfortable without being too baggy so I'll keep them. My recommendation for sizing is: Measure your waist properly with a tape measure and size down if you are at the lower limit according to Burton's size chart.The bibs themselves are awesome, I looked at many other brands and these have the best features overall. Only wore them 1 day at the mountain yet, but it went perfectly.First of all, I always wear a backpack so I don't want huge clips on the shoulder straps (Volcom and DC have those). Burton's straps sit really flush to your skin so you don't feel any pressure under backpack straps. They are also real quick and easy to loosen while taking them off, and tighten when wearing them on.Long side zipper is much better than two short zippers on either side or one long zipper in the front (as on some Quiksilver bibs). Long side zipper is the easiest to organize your layers underneath once you wear the bibs. Bathroom zipper is large enough and it does the job. Went there twice on the mountain and didn't have to unzip my jacket both times. Cuff zippers are also nice when you need to adjust your boots during the day. There is also a very handy cuff length adjuster hidden behind an overlap around mid calf. Made my day easier when switching from snowboard boots to sneakers at the car lot. Full perimeter venting is also much better than 2 smaller vents. It let's the air in exactly where you need it :)Number of pockets on this thing is amazing, it has 7 huge pockets, 3 of them with zippers and 4 of them with quadruple velcro each. Velcro pockets are really secure and I don't believe any kind of gnarly crash could cause you to lose stuff inside those. If you get buried under an avalanche then maybe. I like wearing a backpack so I only used the chest pocket, but I could easily fit everything in my backpack into these pockets if I wanted.TLDR; These are perfect, buy them already.

Nice trousers. Got a size large but too small. I'm a 34" waist. I would love to exchange them for a XL but Amazon won't return my email about the issue. Hopefully someone for Amazon will read this and help me with the matter.
