When I saw this shower foot rest I realized that this was the coolest addition, to our upcoming shower, that I had seen. It truly is the coolest, best looking addition to our shower. I don’t know how I am going to patient until our shower is finished.Having a place to rest your foot, while shaving, is so important to me. Without a foot rest, I would find myself in all sorts of strange positions, and constantly looking for an easier way to shave my legs. When I saw this foot rest online, I really knew that this was the best way for me to be comfortable, and safe.I realize that having this footrest in our shower doesn’t need to be professionally installed. Looking at the detailed instructions, and the hardware that was included, this should be a very easy installation. We would do it ourselves, but when you hire a contractor, they like to install things. Should be a super easy install. This isn’t a problem since we are doing an entire house remodel. This is the perfect time to have this foot rest available. I didn’t even realize that something as cool as this even existed. When it arrived, I was thrilled to see just how sturdy it was. You can’t really see the non-slip texture that is throughout the foot ledge on the pictures that I took, but trust me, it is there!I was so happy to see that the foot ledge is going to be so sturdy, has a great non-slip texture on the entire foot rest area, and the matte black finish is going to match with the other shower fixtures that we have already purchased. Since we aren’t even close to having the shower finished, we can have the foot ledge installed wherever we think is the best place. The way that we have the shower planned out, the foot rest is going to fit perfectly in the area that is easiest for me. I will be the only one using it, and its performance is going to be important.I don’t want it in a place that it will be stepped on if you aren’t going to be using it for shaving, washing feet, or even putting on lotion, or sunscreen, etc. This will be a perfect addition for me, and I know that the ledge is for setting my foot upon it. It isn’t for a stepping on it to reach for something. This foot ledge is absolutely awesome and is going to be used on an almost daily basis. I simply cannot wait!

Got this for the wife to shave her legs in the shower. Installation was easy. It has held up very well. I feel like I could stand on it no problem. Coming from a machining background, I appreciate the way it put together. It's a really nice addition to the bathroom. My only complaint is that I wish it was about 1-2 inches shorter in overall length because we have a smaller shower. It's slightly oversized for what we have, and I've let out a few strings of expletives running into it in the morning. Other than that, it's a great product. If you don't have a tiny standup shower, you should be good as well.

This peg is beautiful with a modern style. Easy to clean and great quality. We decided to install this in place of a tiled shower step when building our new home.

This foot rest is unexpectedly sturdy- when I first opened the package, my first word was "wow". Not kidding! It feels really heavy duty in comparison to others I was looking at. The finish is really attractive (I grabbed black to match the rest of our bathroom set).We have a new build we've been gathering some of these smaller purchases for so we have skilled handyworkers around and don't have to do any installation ourselves, but it does come with instructions. I can't speak to how clear they are or how easy it is for the average person to install- all I know is that it was very simple for us in our situation.
