Aufgrund der durchschnittlichen 4 Sterne (zum Zeitpunkt der Rezension) habe ich mich für den Kauf des Adapters entschieden. Leider kann ich den negativen Rezensionen nur zustimmen. Unter Windows mit einer RTX 4070 Super TI sind maximal 4K 60Hz möglich. Mit 4K 120Hz wird das Bild alle ~10 Sekunden schwarz. Unter Linux sind 4K 120Hz erst gar nicht auswählbar - mit einem anderen Adapter (welcher auf Amazon leider nicht mehr angeboten wird), funktioniert das problemlos.

Nutze den Adapter, weil bei meiner RTX 3070 der HDMI Ausgang ständig Blackscreens alle paar Sekunden erzeugt. MIt dem Adapter ist eine deutliche Verbesserung da. Bildqualität ist top, UHD mit 120 Hz und HDR möglich bei einem SONY XR-65A80L.... Allerdings ist die Audiowiedergabe mit dem Adapter deutlich verzögert. Videos anschauen kann man kaum, man merkt es deutlich. DIrekt über HDMI besteht dieses Problem nicht, also muss es am Adapter liegen.

HDR, RGB 12 Bit, 4k 60hz über 10m hdmi 2.1 Kabel (Beamer) funzt; 120hz nicht testbar da Endgerät dies nicht kann. Jedoch 1080p 240hz kein Problem. Finally :-) .. keine sichtbare Verschlechterung der Bildqualität.

Disclaimer:4k 120Hz is not supported out of the box, it will require manual tweakingThe process of enabling it is straight forward and requires less than 5 minutes of work.You will require a Windows machine with a DisplayPort to plug in and flash the adapter.The firmware and instructions are found online after searching:DP/USB-C/Thunderbolt 3/4 to HDMI 2.1 4k@120hz RGB4:4:4 10b HDR with Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3 now possible !The Cable Matters USB-C to HDMI 2.1 solved all my issues. I've long wanted to embrace the one cable life with my Macbook but always had to compromise. All docks I've come across are limited to 4k 60Hz when connected to Macs just like the HDMI port on the device itself.This adapter was outstanding and singlehandedly resolved my issue. Using the firmware update tools and an older firmware version I was able to utilize the DP 1.4 port on my dock and display 4K 120Hz HDR to my TV.If you're planning to replicate this, for the smoothest experience ensure the adapter is the 102101-BLK model and you're using a certified HDMI 2.1 cable.The build quality on the adapter is great, even though it's made of plastic it is durable and doesn't get as warm as other adapters.Highly recommend this adapter!

I have RTX2080ti with AVR Denon x3800h and LG C1 and this adapter makes my day.I can have Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA pass-through and at the same time i can get 4k 120hz RGB 10bit with complete gamma.I can't use G-sync despite the option being there because my screen goes blank but i can live without it.There's also a firmware update you can do inside this adapter that i didn't even knew it was possible.Check if you have a compatible adapter first.Also the customer support at Cable Matters is amazing. If you have questions and doubts they will answer.5 Stars for sure.

I use it on the Displayport 1.4 port on my GPU to output 4K 60Hz 10bit signal to my projector. It also supports 12bit output, but since I haven't found a use case (UHD BD are 10bit color depth), I keep the output at 10bit.This converter works nice with 15m optical fiber HDMI cable (phoossno Gen 2 Certified 8K Fibre Optic HDMI 2.1 Cable). Good job Cable Matters.

funktioniert super, ich fahre allerdings nur 4K60Hz.Hoffentlich sind die Adapter wirklich langlebig.Qualität ist augenscheinlich sehr gut!

Der Adapter macht ohne Probleme seine 4K 120 Hz 10 Bit HDR an einer Radeon 6900XT. Soweit alles in Ordnung. Aber im Internet geistert ja rum, dass dieser Adapter Freesync und Gsync Compatible könnte.ER KANN ES NICHT. (und das wurde vom Hersteller ja auch nie behauptet, daher kein Stern-Abzug)Ich habe das aktuelle Modell mit WMM7100 mit Firmware 7.02.120 (neueste) bekommen. Und Freesync und Gsync kann man ein- und ausschalten. Aber das führt nur zu Bildaussetzern (LG C2) und es kommt auch nicht am Display an. Dieses zeigt jederzeit nur "VRR off".Mit einem LG C9 konnte ich es leider nicht testen, da der nur HDMI VRR unterstützt, was Dispalyport ja generell eh nicht kann.Aber einen Stern muss ich mindestens abziehen: Auf einer längeren HDMI Strecke bekomme ich mit dem Adapter keine 120 Hz, wo mit nativem HDMI 2.1 noch 120 Hz funktioniert haben. Und an einem 1600p 120 Hz Bildschirm bekomme ich einfach kein Bild angezeigt in 120 Hz (nicht "no Signal", nur schwarz) und es geht mit 60 Hz.

Falls ihr mit eurem Displayport to Hdmi- Kabel das Problem habt, dass euer zweiter Monitor "Kein Signal" anzeigt, obwohl euer PC anzeigt, dass der Monitor angeschlossen ist und funktioniert, oder ihr beim hochfahren des PCs keinen Bootscreen mehr angezeigt bekommt- könnte dieser Adapter die Lösung sein.So war es bei mir. Seitdem ich nur noch einen Hdmi Anschluss an der neuen Grafikkarte (rtx4080) habe, habe ich mich mit dem Problem herumgeärgert. Auch das firmwareupdate von nVidia brachte nicht der erhoffte Lösung.Nachdem ich diesen Adapter zwischen dem vorher verwendeten Hdmi kabel und Grafikkarten Displayportslot anbrachte hatte ich sofort wieder einen Bootscreen und NoSignal kam auch nicht wieder. Das der Bootscreen auf dem besagten Problemmonitor angezeigt wird liegt daran, dass Displayport von den Grafikkarten priorisiert wird.4k HDR funktioniert auch.Hoffe es hilft dem einen oder anderen, der genau nah an der Verzweiflung war wie ich :)

Very useful for older cards that have HDMI version 2.0 and below that doesn't support 4k 120hz but only 4k 60hz but DisplayPort 1.4 that does. I was able to use it on my 1060 6GB to output 4k 120hz to my TV, works plug and play. Very good build quality, the small ~5cm cable is very sturdy and the DP plug has a push plug for connect/disconnect

utilizzato su tv lg oled evo 48" per trasformare il segnale da DP1.4 a hdmi2.1.Con questi adattatori riesco a far funzionare correttamente le 3 TV (1 hdmi2.1 diretto, 2 con questi adattatori) senza alcuna perdita di segnale (cerca "lg oled no signal error").Riesco a far funzionare correttamente nvidia surround (dovete disabilitarlo prima di riavviare il pc, altrimenti avrete dei problemi di visualizzazione all'accensione).Unica pecca, a volte i monitor collegati con questo adattatore non rilevano il formato colore output (da nvidia panel control): RGB. Per farlo rivedere e poterlo configurare dovete sconnettere e riconnetere il cavo dalla GPU.

Tested a different adapter before and it didn't work with 4k@120 but this one finally does! Works fine with LG OLED C2 and RTX 2080 Super. If you get intermediate "signal lost" when launching full screen applications or games make sure to disable G-Sync. No DP - HDMI converters support VRR, so that is expected and nothing wrong with this adapter.

Jugando en 120 HZ y HDR desde una RTX 2070 Super con una LG CX a 10 bit que era el objetivo, a veces parpadea para aceptar alguna resolucion pero cumple su objetivo, acompañado con un cable HDMI 2.1 se puede lograr esto...
