After mounting my LCD TV on the living room wall, I needed a way to keep the unsightly tangle of power and HDMI cables out of sight. These cable pass-through plates were the perfect solution, allowing me to conceal all the cords behind the wall and achieve a sleek, clutter-free look.The installation was straightforward, but be aware that the kit doesn’t include everything you'll need. You’ll have to purchase two low-voltage mounting brackets separately (around $6 for a two-pack), which are necessary for attaching the plates to the drywall. Once I had those, the process was smooth.I love how clean everything looks now—no more cables hanging down the wall. I installed one plate behind the TV and another near the floor, making the wires practically disappear. The silicone grommets are nice, providing plenty of space for multiple cables and large power plugs, and making future cable swaps super easy.At under $15 (including the additional brackets), it’s a great value for anyone looking to manage their cables and achieve a polished, professional-looking setup.

These cable pass wall plates are a neat way to cover holes needed for passing wires through your walls to obscure the unsightly hole left behind; think of things like hanging TV's or for passing wires up to LED strips in bedrooms. This little plate kit includes the screws necessary for mounting the plates, but you may want to add some small plastic wall anchors to ensure you have a tight fitment that will not come loose. These are a great value, but as seen in the picture, keep in mind that the surrounding plate is the small sized plate, but you can also easily just use the middle section with the rubber flaps and connect it to an oversized wall plate for a toggle switch or GFI outlet, which I have since done to avoid repainting around my shared picture of the plate installed to the wall, and you can too if this is helpful tip for you.

The holes don't line up with the original plate. I was ok with the idea of simply attaching it to the wall with only one screw instead of both, but the thickness of the rubber grommet within the inside of the plate interfered with the metal bracket in the wall, so it wouldn't fit at all. Time to actually go into a hardware store with the original plate to compare in person. I take a star off because I couldn't find anywhere in the description the measurement between the screw holes. If I had I wouldn't have bought them in the first place. So for everyone's information: it's 3.75" from screw hole to screw hole.
