Lovely quality teapot good heavy stainless steel , but there is a fault it is extremely difficult to remove the lid have to use a knife to get the lid off makes this dangerous when boiling water in the pot

Erfüllt was es soll !Er hätte auch 5 Sterne verdient von der Qualität , aber ich denke heutzutage sollte auch ein Teesieb dabei sein :)

This is the second Café Ole Derwent I've bought, it has a good solid feel, and the design is a good one. generally the finish is good, however this particular one had swarf (metal filings) and polishing compound on the external and (more importantly) the internal surfaces which were tricky to remove - given that the internal surface is where the tea is made I have some concerns about Quality Control, so too small sharp irregularities on the handle. It also had an electo-welding mark as others have commented on but that is not so much of a problem.

Just received, filled with water, nice pour, good grip, didn't leak from lid.Was good as new, which was a lot cheaper, only the box was damaged. Very pleased with my purchase and the price. Thank you
