Best backpack I've had so far. At some point it's all the same so just pick a brand you like and run with it literally lol. I started on a cheap Ozark from Walmart in high school and now I'm 26 and decided to try something different. Glad I did this thing BREATHES. I forget I'm wearing it lol

I want to love it so much, but since it leaks 3 out of 4 times I wear it, I can’t even use it anymore. And not a little leak… it will leak so much that it’s dripping and everything I have in the pockets gets wet (really great when you’re setting out on a 62 mile ride). I’m pretty sure it’s a design flaw. The handle sits right on top of the button to disconnect the tube from the bladder. No matter how hard I try I can’t figure out how to get the bladder in there so that it doesn’t leak. And once it has leaked in the bag it’s impossible to tell if you fixed it or not.

I think this is an earlier version of the 50 oz Camelbak Chase Race 4 hydration vest.The Race 4 seems to be built from stronger materials and the pocket design seems more refined.The two vests are otherwise almost identical.Camelbak’s 50 oz. Hydration vests are my favorite hydration system for road and gravel bike rides of up to 4 hours.The pack length is perfect not to interfere with the pockets on the back of road jerseys, there are just the right number and size of pockets on the vest and the water volume is sufficient.

Love my Chase vest. I can stash so much up front that I do not even need a tank bag anymore. Backside space is great for tools, spares outer shell, PB sammy and even an extra water bottle of water. One thing that is not "perfect" is that with the water right against my back - more so that my bigger Camelback - the water gets warm fast. I put ice cubes in to counter this affect and that helps. Also, sometimes getting a sip takes some effort to get it flowing. But, once the initial struggle it flows great.
