Has a super cheap feeling despite its price, laser is defective only makes contact and works in a very certain rotation meaning the turn on and off key is useless, gonna have to return.

Sold as a 2 inch reticle but is actually a 1.25 inch one. The Svbony version is better value.

I bought this eyepiece for performing drift alignment with my 10" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain.I read some reviews that said the cross hair was way too bright. This is true if you put it at full strength. I use it on the lowest setting. It is still bright, but for drift aligning you only need to be able to track the stars movements in declination.I have been able to use this eyepiece to align with event he dimmest stars.The price is the biggest selling feature. You don't need this eyepiece for anything else than alignment, or centering a star for accurate mount auto tracking calibration. Spending more money does not do it any better.I have used it for several months now and the batteries are still going strong.It uses three 1.5V type L1131C batteries or their equivalent. This is probably something that you will want to buy on Amazon too. I have not been able to find them in any store. Not a big deal though.
