This StarPointer did not produce a red dot to point at any star. I tried switching batteries, but it just wouldn't work.

This is a great product to install on a celestial telescope. I never have figured out why most telescopes come with a view finder that shows the target image upside down compared to the right side up image projected on the viewing eyepiece! This little view finder comes with several different mounting attachments which should fit the majority of telescopes available. The view finder was easy to mount on my telescope and set up was quick and easy. The view finder now shows the targeted object right side up and the red dot when matched with the image viewer is spot on for accurately viewing the sky image that is targeted.A great product to enhance the astronomy experience! It is well made and is offered at a reasonable price.I would highly recommend this view finder.

Adapter Auswahl ausreichend für mich und wahrscheinlich für die meisten anderen Teleskope.Sucher tut was er soll, in meiner Praxis gut genug.Einstellbarkeit gut genug.Für den Preis fünf Sterne.

Cannot tell about the durability but it is a great finder. It went on top of my binoculars and does a super good job, especially if you want to star hop. Really recommended product.

Bei mir war es wichtig das der Sucher leicht ist----das ist er - sehr leicht.Wertig gearbeitet- guter Einblick.Preis ist etwas hoch für nur Kunststoff aber dafür ist er halt sehr leicht.>Einziger - Punkt. Der rote LED Kreis auf der Scheibe ist viel zu hell...sollte weiter runter dimmbar sein.Dann sieht man die Hintergrund Sterne besser.Muss jeder selbst entscheiden...für mich ok.Für Deep Sky viel zu hell.

Ein sehr schöner Sucher mit breitem Sichtfeld und einem coolen Zielkreuz. Meine Sorge war die Halterung, aber es liegen mehrere verschiedene Füße bei, also kein Problem. Deutlich schicker als mein ursprünglicher Lasersucher :-)

Ho comprato il cercatore per il mio telescopio e devo dire di essere estremamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto.Esso punta grazie a un pallino rosso molto preciso e facile da regolare. Estremamente migliore rispetto allo star pointer che si rompe facilmente ed è difficile da allineare che per questo ho restituito .Il cercatore viene fornito con molti attacchi per tutti i telescopi.

Bought this finder because I could not even find the moon in the red dot finder that was standard to my astromaster 70eq. It was a bit of DIY to attach it in the same spot, but it turned out great. I callibrated to a nearby church tower and at night I can now find the planets with ease. Most of the times they are in view right away! I really like the HUD view. Its also a really nice wide view. As long as you keep the red dual-circle reticle in about the middle of the view you will find your object. It seems quite forgiving in respect to the angle you're looking into the view field.

This worked very well for me because of the big red circle.I can align anything with it and it will show up in the eye piece.I could not get the red dot to work for me.

Exzellente Einsicht und Übersicht. Ringe statt Leuchtpunkt. Stufenlos regelbar. Justage einfach wie beim "normalen" Leuchtpunktsucher,Knopfzelle leicht zu wechseln. Warum nur 4 Sterne? Das ganze ich aus Kunststoff und ein wenig wackelig, aber handhabbar.

First one was intermittent and returned and they sent replacement . Replacement had play and worst that first one. Threw it in garbage. No quality control at all. Celestron makes quality telescope but their pointers are garbage.
