Dieser Motor kann an die Rektaszensionsachse (Stundenachse) der parallaktischen Powerseeker- und Astromaster-Montierungen angebracht werden. Der Motor führt dann die Stundenachse der Himmelsrotation nach. So bleibt das gewünschte Objekt immer im Okular sichtbar, ohne dass Sie mit der Hand nachführen müssen.
Die Geschwindigkeit des Motors kann reguliert werden, aber auch seine Drehrichtung. Letzteres ist wichtig, wenn Sie den Motor auf der Südhalbkugel verwenden wollen.

El unico problema que he encontrado es que estando en Espana he tenido que ponerlo en modo "sur" para que funcione.Soy al unico al que le ha pasado esto? estoy haciendo algo mal?

J'en ai reçu un qui était défectueux ! Le moteur ne tournait pas :-( avant de le monter sur votre télescope vérifier que le moteur tourne correctement ! J'en reçois un autre mercredi ! J'ESPÈRE QUE CELUI-LÀ FONCTIONNERA CORRECTEMENT !

Il motore funziona, ma per quello che costa mi sarei aspettato una qualità migliore. Il vano motore è aperto, soggetto quindi a raccogliere polvere e sporcizia. Braccetto rotante di plastica flessibile, a mio avviso tendente alla rottura dopo cicli di lavoro. Non presente attacco per eventuale trasformatore esterno. Interruttori on/off e N/ord/Sud molto delicati (nella posizione sud il mio già presenta falso contatto al secondo utilizzo). Rotella per la regolazione della velocità molto sottile e leggermente scomoda da manovrare. In definitiva un prodotto il cui effettivo valore sarebbe dovuto essere circa un terzo di quello pagato.Dulcis in fundo: utilizzare il telescopio con l'inseguimento a motore è molto artificioso; bisognerebbe prima allinearlo alla perfezione per ottenere l'inseguimento sperato, che in ogni caso avviene solo su un asse.Io lo utilizzo quasi per niente. Faccio prima a mano.Per l'inseguimento automatico occorrono i telescopi computerizzati.

Pleased with this. One of the problems with a completely manual EQ mount is the constant adjustment required of the RA to keep the object within the FOV - this replaces this and once aligned you can swtich it on and set the motor speed to match the rotation - ideal for when using a webcam with the telescope to allow you to adjust the image capture on the PC without having to also manually manage the RA adjust. The internal mechanism motor and gearbox looks solid enough and is easy to fit - just allow clearance for the movement of the scope clutch controls - recommend a little light oil on the worm gear of the scope just for smoothness. From what I can see the motor speed is to an extent circuit controlled adjusted by the potentiometer on the front with a little control board inside and the 9v battery fits nicely inside of the casing. Comes with an EQ2 and EQ3 bracket - I am using the EQ2 bracket on a Celestron astromaster 130EQ with a telrad finder. Set the slide switch for N for North Hemisphere but if you need to back up slightly just flick to S to reverse direction - I wouldn't want to pay more for the gadget but for my purposes it meets the need and if I were to make it (I'm an Engineer) probably wouidn't cost much different - and the case looks tidy
