I ordered this to complete an urgent job. Although it does work and leaves nice shiny joints I do find it dries up too quick and gives off terrible fumes, I struggle to use it. It's also not ideal when using with a heat gun as it just blows the flux away from the intended area. One benefit is that it it very easy to clean.I will be sticking to the paste type.

I ordered a bottle of this to go with my YIHUA 939D+ Digital Soldering Station for soldering SMD devices. This flux is essential and really helps make soldering fine-pitch IC's easy. Watch some YouTube videos to learn the technique. I had great success drag soldering with a chisel tip; dragging in the direction of the leads moving away from the IC body. Highly recommended.
