Codenames is an absolute hit! Whether you're playing with family, friends, or even coworkers, this game delivers endless fun and laughter. The concept is simple yet brilliantly strategic—giving one-word clues to connect multiple words on the board while avoiding the opposing team's words (and the dreaded assassin!).I love how the game scales well for different group sizes, and the replayability is fantastic since the word combinations always change. Always looking for that game everyone can play and is totally enjoyable yet challenging. This a great game for family or game-night with friends. Love the large size and the concept. The clues change when playing with family, we played with children as young as 9 year old, and we played with visiting adult friends; the clues given become more complicated. Its hilarious and had everyone laughing and requesting the game on later visits. Can't do better than that.

Bought it in 2018, got consistently out of my collection about once or twice per year. Always fun to get out.Used to play a lot more in the beginning when I got it though !Best at 6 persons, good at 4 or 8. Ok-ish if uneven More it becomes a bit messy, but still technically doable up to infinite amount of people !Highly recommend. In my top 20 games for sure !

I had the original bought for Christmas, and my in-laws loved it, but forever couldn’t read the cards when placed on the table.The cards here are 4 times the size, and very easy to read.Good for small kids, and old kids alike.

Sehr lustiges Spiel. Perfekt für Familien, sprich gut spielbar für jung und alt (wenn auch nicht zu jung, also ab 10 Jahren passt es super). Haben wir schon bei Familienfeiern gespielt, ein Hit!

We usually play with both native speakers and with non native speakers without problem. The game is easy to pick up, hard to master, and great fun every time!
