Restoring a treadle machine. This worked perfectly for the leather guides to go through the wood. The grommet protects the leather.

These are a good quality and work well enough. The screws worked fine on all 4 and I had all of the screws I needed. There are just a couple of things I don’t care for about them. I feel like it is a bit tricky to keep all of the edges of the fabric inside the grommet. The inside edge is just straight, the top and bottom butt up against one another to enclose the fabric. It does not round over anything so strings from frayed edges want to poke through. I just bought fray check to help with that. The other thing I didn’t like about these is how you had to cut your oval. To accommodate for the screws, it is an oval with 2 small circles - one on each long end. To make space for the screws, there is very little space for any fabric under the grommet on the long edges (if that make sense.). They worked fine, they look fine on my purse, they were just a bit of a pain to use and I worry that fabric may pull out from under the grommet at some point. I will probably try a different type if I make another purse with oval grommets. All of that being said, they are fine, they do work and look fine, they just won’t be my first choice for my next bag.

Only 2 screws to secure the hardware. It was very difficult to install. Don't buy it!!!
