I ordered the snail couple kit. While it is cute, and convenient that everything you need is included, I felt like the picture was misleading According to the instructions the donuts have two different colored halves, which doesn’t show on the pictures, and I don’t think it would look that great; therefore, one would have to provide their own yarn to make a doughnut that is all one color. It should be shown in the pictures that there are two different sides. I returned it as I felt like the description was misleading.

This is not for beginners… I literally could not even do the first step. I have tried probably 50 times to create the magic ring and I’m unable to do it… It’s clear I’m doing something wrong, but no matter how many times I watch the instructional video. I cannot replicate what the lady is doing.

the instructions are quite unclear, the abbreviations are hard to follow as someone that knows nothing about crocheting previously (they do give you a guide to the abbreviations, but they are used constantly throughout the directions).the yarn is splitting like crazy (i have the snail kit). it is making it so difficult to use the hook without catching stray strands of yarn. the woman in the videos has such a nice quality yarn, and i wish something similar was included.i do see that some of the reviews (specifically the axolotls) seem to have a better quality yarn? i am confused by the consistency. as of right now i do not recommend this.
