What a great reel. Long casting with a smooth retrieve. Pretty much like most Shimano reels

I love the reel very simple comfortable but i highly recommend spool speed bearings easy install and better casting overall

I purchased my first Shimano at the sportsman show held in the Seattle King Dome, many moon ago. It was the venerable Calcutta 100. Ambassadors were all i had to compare it to. Though this dose not have the DC tech... I feel that this reel is a similar leap. a beautiful reel. I do have a few with the DC drag (a Scorpion straight from Japan) and enjoy the got your back feeling they give there is something about the cast feel from a truly well made reel. If you know you know. Buy the thing you can't go wrong.
