I've had some pretty big crashes snowboarding landing on it and it's held up. No leaks and easy to dry out you just have to prop it open with the slider. The mouthpiece selector is a little stiff moving but maybe it'll loosen over time.

The bag is completely sealed closed and unable to open. The package I received was previously already opened and taped back together. I am sending back for a refund and buying directly from Dakine. This product was likely designed with a single function in mind; to hold water and deliver it to the user without leaking. Unfortunately it FAILS MISERABLY AT ACCOMPLISHING THIS FUNCTION EFFECTIVELY. I took this product skiing this past weekend and used it with a compatible DaKine backpack. When I took the backpack (with the water reservoir inserted into it) out of my car I quickly noticed a large pool of water (about 12 inches in diameter) that had formed beneath the hose of the water reservoir as a result of the product leaking. I took the backpack with me, hoping that the leak in my car was an isolated event and found that the hose of the water reservoir leaked the entire time I was skiing. It leaked everywhere. It leaked on the chairlift, it leaked while I was skiing, and it leaked so much that by the end of 5 ski runs my jacket was COVERED in frozen water that had leaked out of the hose of the water reservoir. In short, this product was a colossal disappointment. NOT WORTH THE TIME OR THE MONEY.

Benutze das Dakine Reservoir in meinem Dakine Tactic Tourenrucksack. Durch die Möglichkeit, den Beutel vom Trinkschlauch zu entfernen, kann man den Schlauch sehr leicht in den Rucksackträger einfädeln. Für mehrtägige Touren kann der Schlauch einfach im Träger bleiben, zum Nachfüllen und Reinigen kann man dann einfach die Trinkblase abklemmen und aus dem Rucksack holen.Die Reinigung ist auch sehr einfach und zum Trocknen kann der Beutel einfach komplett umgestülpt werden.
