Der Kopfhörer spielt hierbei in der Liga von 100-200 EUR mit.Es gibt kein Selbstton bei Telefonanrufen. Bei längeren Telefonanrufen, speziell draußen kann das schon unangenehm werden, weil man das Gefühl unter Wasser zu sein. Da sind Focal Bathys und selbst der SONOS ACE um Welten!! besser.Es gibt kein App, hierdurch gibt es auch kein Firmwareupdate in der Zukunft und hierdurch auch keine Besserungen von ANC und Transparency. Hierdurch ist auch keine EQ möglich. Man kann zwar den EQ vom Handy benutzen aber der ist nicht so effektiv wie ein App-interner EQ.Klang ist zu warm für mich persönlich. Ich bevorzuge einen neutraleren Klang, z.B. den von dem Facal Bathys.Klangseparation könnte ein Tick besser sein (jammern auf hohem Niveau). Bei sehr komplexen Liedern, speziell bei den hohen Frequenzen kann man den Unterschied zu Focal Bathys hören (es gibt kaum Unterschiede aber die sind definitiv da)Die Funktionsverteilung der Knöpfe ist mMn suboptimal. Es wäre besser gewesen ANC auf die linke Seite zu bringen.All in all, das sind zu viele neutrale Punkte für mich für einen Kopfhörer mit UVP von 999 EUR. Es freut mich aber, dass DALI den Sprung gewagt hat! Später wenn der Preis runterkommt wird der DALI mMn ein echt guter Konkurrent zum kommenden Bowers & Wilkins PX8 S2 werden.PS: Ich verstehe die positiven Rezensenten hier überhaupt nicht. Der Kophörer spielt überhaupt nicht in der Oberliga mit und den Preis sehe ich persönlich als massiv überteuert an. 700 EUR max. (31.08.2024) sehe ich als gerechtfertigt an für die Bauqualität und Klang.

Habe sie jetzt seit 3 Monaten, es sind die mit Abstand besten Kopfhörer die ich je hatte. Hatte vorher BO H95, deren Sound ist im Vergleich dazu 'matschig'.Habe sie im hifi Laden gekauft, und dort verschiedene andere Modelle probegehört.. Bowers & Wilkins PX8, Bathys, Apple Pros, Mark Levinson 5909, weitere. Sind alles gute Kopfhörer aber 1-2 Ligen unter diesen hier.Nutze sie ausschließlich mit Bluetooth, der Unterschied zum Kabel an sehr gutem Player ist minimal.Dazu kommt perfekter Tragekomfort und Ergonomie, auch bei langen Sessions. Einzig das Touch außen nervt mich, bei unabsichtlichen Berührungen, zB beim schlafen im Zug oder Flugzeug, gibt's dann inputs die man nicht will. Das war aber beim BO noch viel empfindlicher.Akkulaufzeit ist gut, ähnlich wie meine BO vorher.ANC ist nicht super stark, allerdings sind die Ohrmuscheln so abdichtend, dass mir das völlig reicht.Mikroqualität ist ebenfalls super, sagt man mir. Bluetooth connectivity funktioniert perfekt, hier sind viele andere Kopfhörer ja richtig schlecht.Würde sie immer wieder kaufen.

I was tired of messing with cheap headphones so I decided to get the best money can buy. It surely took a lot to get the DALI IO-12. Was it worth it? I think so.Pros:+ Superb sound quality, especially for midrange (HiFi mode only), although it could use a little more bass+ Superb quality of materials (metal, leather)+ Soft, cushy ear padsCons:- Price- Inferior noise reduction- Heavy/bulky (good luck flying with these)- Bass mode sucks (bass level is unchanged, they just muffle the treble and midrange)- Button locations- Battery life is not as advertisedAlthough I gave it a lot of cons, the sound quality is what it's all about.

I love how poised the sound is. Very even, neutral, bass is precise, sound is distortion free. Not straining at all. You just feel very relaxed from the sound.Unfortunately, after only 1 month of use the power button stopped working, this is the exact same issue that many reviewers mentioned for the IO-6. The problem is so strange because I use the headphones only at home (I tend to use the Px7 S2E when I am on the go because they are lighter), so I don't understand how the power button stops working so quickly.It is a real shame because the sound quality is the best in the market, and I like the Bluetooth connection behavior.Fortunately I purchased mine through a dedicated HiFi shop, so repair or exchange is not a problem with the Germany typical law-mandated "Gewährleistung" but this also means I don't feel comfortable keeping these headphones beyond the two year warranty.One other minor annoyance is that the bottoms are too tiny, and the volume buttons are too easy to press by accident when you lie on your bed.The headphones are super comfortable, I just wish their engineers spend time improving the buttons.

It seems to come and go when you turned the ear piece fully to the left and right. I wish you had more control over the noise cancellation BUT is is very good for the few settings they give you. The "BASS" setting seems to muffle the high end range some. I love my bass but it totally muddled the high end. I actually think that the HIFI setting is perfect. Build, battery life, comfort, etc. are all great. Sound quality is just superlative.I use them wired and wireless, and it’s amazing how much detail they can pluck out of lower resolution files. With lossless files, you just don’t want to stop listening.Another thing to mention is sound stage. Usually a closed back headphone like this one can’t compete against an open back headphone in this area, but these headphones somehow do. Perhaps it’s the additional clarity and instrument separation the drivers create. Listening wired with the power on, these are on a par with my Hifiman 1000 Stealth.Dali claim an identical sound signature whether you listen wireless, wired with power off, or wired with power on. I think that’s true, but for the most detail and clarity, wired and powered is the way to go.

Ich bin ein Fan von Dali und wäre bereit gewesen den hohen Preis zu bezahlen. Aber beim Probehören war ich enttäuscht und hatte deutlich mehr erwartet. Gegenüber meinen älteren Bose Kopfhörer kaum eine Verbesserung. Habe mir jetzt bowers & wilkins px7 s2e gekauft und bin absolut begeistert. Für den "günstigen" Preis klasse. Wie ich gehört habe, sollen die Dali nur per Kabel gut klingen, was ich nicht getestet habe und für mich nicht in Frage kommt.

I will confess I was dubious these could be worth the price. So much so that I very carefully preserved all the packaging in case I wanted to return them. I won’t be.A bit of searching online and you come across comments like “just get the Sony and save your money.” I am glad I ignored that advice.My use case: I have a pair of Apple Airpod Max. They have amazing ANC. And they sound pretty darn good. And they work seamlessly with Apple products, which our household is full of. But they are heavy. As in HEAVY. I cannot wear them for more than an hour or two before they become too uncomfortable. That is a problem because my #1 use case is long-haul air travel. The AirPod Max also require a third party accessory to connect to in-flight entertainment systems. And no way to use them with my headphone amps at home.Speaking of, I own some reasonably high end open back headphones from Hifiman, Focal, etc., and have suitable tube headphone amps from Schiit, Xduoo, McIntosh, etc., to drive them. The Dali, running on its own internal DAC, stands up to any of them, but goes where they cannot: bluetooth compatibility and, most especially, active noise cancellation (ANC) that is very good.My maiden voyage with them was an overseas flight to Paris. I selected the movie Dune and plugged the Dali into the plane’s double prong audio port (thankfully Dali includes the adapter or aid have been listening in mono). OMG. I had no idea in-flight entertainment could sound so good. Like movie theater on an airplane. I’ve since been listening to Tidal over bluetooth from my iPhone and am equally amazed.These are not cheap. But my airline ticket cost way more and these Dali will make all of my travel that much more enjoyable, so a worthy investment. Bonus is I can run them in passive mode on my amps at home so they serve double duty.I never do Amazon reviews but hope this helps someone in my shoes.
