Southwest Airlines Co ist eine bedeutende US-Fluggesellschaft, der weltweit größte günstige Anbieter mit Sitz in Dallas, Texas. Die Fluggesellschaft wurde 1967 von Herb Kelleher gegründet und übernahm 1971 ihren aktuellen Namen (Southwest Airlines) übernommen.
Southwest Airlines hat nur Boeing 737s verwendet, außer seit mehreren Jahren in den 70er und 1980er Jahren, als es einige Boeing 727s von Braniff leihte. Seit Januar 2016 ist Southwest der größte Betreiber der Boeing 737 weltweit, mit über 700 im Service, wobei durchschnittlich sechs Flüge pro Tag erreicht werden.
Diese Boeing 737-700 ist eine hochfliegende Darstellung der Bundesstaatsflagge Missouri, die das große Siegel von Missouri zeigt. Das Siegel verfügt über zwei Grizzly-Bären, die das Motto "United We Stand" umgreifen. Die Motorverkleidungen beinhalten die zentralen Elemente des Schildes, darunter einen Halbmond, einen Grizzly-Bär, und einen Adler aus dem Wappen der Vereinigten Staaten.

Love the plane. Maybe a bit overpriced, but whatever. I bought it because my 2-year old loves airplanes and I wanted a larger scale replica that wasn't 'cartoonish'. We took Southwest to Hawaii in January so I thought this may also help ease his tensions of flying. It didn't change anything for our flight, but he likes the plane a lot. It doesn't hold up well when you throw it across the living room though. I think we have about half the wing parts left at this point (They get loose after you crash the plane a bunch of times). I think this is meant to just be looked at (which is quite boring if you ask me). I don't recommend it for play.

So you finally got to fly in a plane after working around an airport for a decade. You have the itch to build and paint a model of the plane you flew on, or something close. Well you could build a normal model kit and find the decals, and the correct paints, or you could buy this and get back to your kit back log in minutes, and have a perfectly good model sitting on you desk faster than a Entry Grade Gundam kit. The stand is perfect for display, and the model fits together solidly without glue. It is not 100% it can have some gaps but you won't care when it is done, and on your desk. You might want to panel line the unpainted parts but really it is done when assembled.

Excellent quality! I was expecting a light plastic model but this particular model felt solid like some of my wood/resin Southwest aircraft. "LUV" the detail in the engine fans. Definitely worth it for pilots, collectors, and aircraft enthusiasts alike.

Another beautiful, well-constructed and easy to assemble quality model with a solid (not hollow) fuselage and vivid graphics. The nice-looking turbo fan engines are pretty realistic with added see-thru-blade detail. A nice added bonus to this particular model is the pre-mounted Satellite Communication or SATCOM antenna which is accurately located near the vertical stabilizer. I’m impressed by this company’s products and will continue to purchase them.
