I received this alternator and tested it before I installed it , glad I did it did not work no voltage output !!!!!

As others have said, this is almost an exact drop in fit for the original. Installed on my 1986 M1009 blazer with the 6.2.Top bolt is undersized from original. I had planned on posting the size, but happened to find the random right bolt loose in a toolbox so I don't know the size. Everything else is plug and play. This replaced my passenger side alt perfectly.Don't forget to your factory spacers between the alternator bracket and the block!

Exact replacement for my 1986 M1028 and m1009 cucv's, pulley is smaller around so you may have some issues getting the belt tight enough on the driver side (my upper bracket had already been modified by previous owner). Been working well for a week so Ill update this if anything changes.
