Looks great and it stops my son’s wheelchair from rubbing and scratching the bottom of the door.

The magnetic hold is perfect. The metal is thicker gauge than big box stores. There is a clear plastic film with the company sticker on it. It looks like the plate may be scratched, but that is just the film. That peels away easily. The magnetic plate has a USA sticker that doesn't need to be removed. I bought because my dog is scratching the paint on my back door and I'm not good with drills. Well pleased with the purchase, worth the expense.

Absolutely beautiful and it’s not going anywhere! I Very strong magnet but super easy to apply, adjust and clean. Really looks great, adds some nice curb appeal to our home and is a super easy upgrade. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I bought this for my front door. I had one before and dont know what happened to it. I just painted my door and was worried the magnet wouldnt stick but it did. I put it vertically though and my dog scratches it to come in instead of messing up my paint.

Here's the spoiler alert: I am returning this item.But before I give the reason, here's what I noticed about the product:The polished brass color was exactly as I would have expected. It looked great with the existing hardware on my entryway door which just received a new coat of paint and had a new wall plate knocker installed.The magnetic adhesion to the door was very strong and I don't anticipate the product shifting or in any way getting jostled out of position through normal use.Following their suggested guidelines, the fit was perfect, and the look was very impressive.Now the bad part:There was a slight bend in one of the corners and the metal became detached from the magnetic backing.The item had a shrink wrapped protective coating and a sticker that advised the plastic to be removed first because the item might appear damaged at first, but then turn out to be just fine once the wrapping was removed.In this case that wasn't the case and there was a loose fleck of the underlying aluminum floating between the plate and backing that likely broke off.Since I didn't notice any damage in the packaging it makes me suspect that quality assurance may have been lacking during the shipping process.I expect a replacement in just a few days and expect that it will adorn the door for many years to come and at that point I would anticipate giving a 5 star rating.
