I've been collecting sun catchers by Winged Heart for several years, and about two years ago it was noted that production methods were changing. The items are no longer hand-painted, but instead are made by sandwiching a color transparency of an image between two pieces of glass. Previously the description in an item's box read, "A hand painted glass Window Decoration..." and each piece was signed by the artist who created it. Now, the description reads, "A hand crafted glass Window Decoration...." I'm okay with that, but the seller of this Dormouse decoration ought to update the description as it's a newer production item. Moreover, the size is incorrectly noted; I expected the standard WH roundel of about 6" (15 cm) in diameter, but this measures only 4" (10 cm), another detail that should be included in the description. I'm definitely keeping this decoration but it's important that other interested buyers are aware of what they'll actually receive.

This is the sweetest dormouse ever! The painting is exquisite and the roundel looks very good hanging in a sunny window with the light coming through it.

Bought for my Mother as a "cheer up" gift.....she loves this. Colours are stunning....a great memory booster for older people...I will be treating myself following her comments....thank you
