Engine cranks so much faster now!Had issues with old starter dragging. Especially when engine was hot and stopped for gas.

This is the OEM for an s2000, Although it is refurbished in the USA it still has some Japan parts on it. Installation is kind of a pain since the Knock sensor is right next to it and the birds nest of wires + vacuum lines in the way but it starts strong. Hope this lasts me another 175k mi.

I bought this starter for a 2006 honda s2000. The only pain was the actual install (have to remove the alternator and some brackets to make room). Only difference between the old and new was a notch on washer on the "front" side that did not exist on the new starter. Simply cutting it off of the washer worked and it fit right in. If you're not mechanically inclined; take it to a shop for install. Otherwise, just take your time and it will work. Car starts like it's brand new now. Product came in a denso box.
