The material is much thinner and more cheaply made than the kickplate. I replaced it with, but I had a very hard time finding the right size so I’ll keep it.

We have new Schlage black door hardware and this looks cheap in comparison. We have only had it for a few months, but I feel we need a higher quality replacement. This actually detracts.
