Ottimo attrezzo, buon taglio delle siepi, buona durata della batteria anche con quella da 4ah.Un po' debole la struttura visto lo sbalzo dall'impugnatura alla lama.

I have used a number of different pole trimmers in my time and this is the best so far.It is not particularly light but certainly lighter than any corded trimmer I have used. Reach is not as much as you might think, the entire trimmer is about seven feet long so you can trim up to about 13~14 feet or so but because it's reasonably light you can stretch a bit and reach up even further for short periods of time. With a step ladder I am able to reach up to 20 feet without difficulty. You may also like to know that the pole extension from the DeWalt Pole Chainsaw fits the trimmer so you can extend it about another four feet or so. I would only recommend that for vertical use of the trimmer though. The pole is strong but it would be out of control trying to use it at anything other than straight up.There is some sag in the head thanks to the joint that allows the head to be tilted. It doesn't really affect anything but I am a little surprised that DeWalt couldn't manage anything more sturdy.Power is good and it can happily run on a small or large battery. Arguably the 5Ah is better because it balances the trimmer much better than say a light 2Ah battery. If you have 2Ah batteries and easy access to a charger then I would see no need to buy a 5Ah battery. The 5ah does get the blades moving a tad faster and has more cutting power but the 2ah is just fine.I found the neck strap really dangerous! Unless you are trimming a ground level then I wouldn't use that at all. Take it off. It just makes handling clumsy.Talking about safety, do not touch the blade! If you look at the blade the sides have V shaped points on them. I am not exactly sure what they are for, but whatever they are they are very sharp. Even when off, If you hit the blade against yourself, your hand, someone else, there will be blood! You need the blade guard on all the time the trimmer is not being used and make darn sure the blade never touches anything that may damage even when the trimmer is off.Personally I thought the safety was easy to use although I have heard of people disabling it by removing the vertical pin that fits through the safety trigger.All in all an excellent tool. Very good quality and certainly the most useable I have found to date. It just makes it easier to use than other electric trimmers I have tried. Highly recommended.
