I have both volumes. I find them useful when I want to break out of my color routines (using variations of the same color repeatedly). I find that I start with a swatch, then it leads me into new variations or tones (experimenting with hue saturation tool in PS). This is very useful.I mentioned in my review of the first volume that I wish they had the CYMK values with the swatches instead of buried in an index, as it is cumbersome to look them up, but maybe they will do this if there is ever a volume three.

Was told about these book being helpful as a makeup artist. Since getting them I’ve been able to use different color combinations on set that I wouldn’t have thought to use.

Absolut recommendation on buying it, but if you only wanna get one: get volume one. I feel like volume one is easier to integrate in everyday life because here you have combinations with more colors who are more complex in total. But also absolutely fantastic!
