I just completed this kit and the finished product is absolutely stunning. Plenty of thread was provided. Will look for this brand for my next purchase

This is a beautiful kit! I'm experienced with cross stitch, but this is my first needlepoint, and I'm really enjoying it. I (foolishly) thought it would be easier and faster than counted cross stitch, since the canvas is printed, but as it turns out...it's not as easy or as fast as I thought. For those who are unfamiliar with printed canvases, you still have to be careful where you put your stitches because the print doesn't exactly follow hard and fast lines on the canvas. I refer to the finished picture (which would be better if it were larger) a lot to make sure I have the correct number of stitches in the right places. Being exact isn't as big of a deal for the background, but the hard, straight lines on the cabin need extra care.There's plenty of floss in 24" lengths, but I do wish the floss was something we could easily buy in the store instead of having to call the company and request. No, I haven't had to do that yet, but there are two colors that are going to be iffy.Overall, I'm thrilled with this project and can't wait to complete it. I'll follow up with pictures when I have more done.
