I am only using it for a belt clip for my keys, but it is really well made and very functional. I can't comment on the climbing uses, but it seems very sturdy and precision made. It is also very light.

I have one of these and reserve it for placements where the rope has a change in direction that might add extra rope drag. I also use it on the first placement if the belayer is not right under me. The third place I use it is for the locking gate below a run-out where I wander back and forth above the placement. It's definitely a confidence booster.

Really well made device that has no really decent application. A carabiner 'pulley' is so much less efficient than a real one. Maybe using this for a trad climbing off route/traverse, where you want to minimize rope drag?Anyway, it's really well made. I have no qualms about the quality of the product. I just don't use it.
