If you have a truck, be it Ford or Dodge or whatever, that has a Dana-60 or -70 axle, front or rear, that is plagued with those stupid one-use nylock bearing adjuster nuts with the silly little wedge-key, the best thing you can do for that axle is to dis-card those nylocks and replace them with these LIFETIME wheel-bearing adjuster nuts, commonly called spindle-nuts.The outside wheel-bearing will rapidly eat a groove into the backside of the soft nylock nut, thus loosening bearing adjustment, causing vibration, sideplay, and rapid bearing wear. Not so with these old school hard steel spindle-nuts; they can be used over and over indefinitely, wearing out many trucks and still good to go.The folding-tab lock-washer can be bought individually as singles, in pairs, and in bulk by the dozens and are commonly available.Proper installation procedure is to install one nut and tighten it to proper bearing adjustment; then, slide the folding-tab lock-washer against that "inside" nut; then, install the second "outside" nut and tighten it firmly against the lock-washer and inside nut; once the outside nut is firmly tightened, fold TWO tabs of the washer over the flats of the outside nut, thus locking the nut against backing off.Nothing is gained by folding tabs over the inside nut, although I have seen it done many times. There are enough tabs on a lock-washer for it to be re-used three or more times before needing replacement.I did find the inside tab of the washer to be a bit wide to slide into the spindle keyway on one of my trucks; a few strokes with a file soon provided a precision fit. These spindle-nuts will pay for themselves the first time they are used.I hope this information helps someone.
