This requires a gpio and you must configure it, however the vendor provides example files and instructions by way of their website wavesaver. Its hard to photograph it but I am using it on a wpad server, and customized the middle screen to show if any users are logged in. Great design, has 2 programable buttons also. It's bright and can add a unique aesthetic appeal to a small raspberry pi. Thank you.
