Die Größe des Schwerts ist ideal für Erwachsene und passt perfekt zu meiner beeindruckenden Größe von 185 cm.Das Eigengewicht dieses Lichtschwerts macht es besonders geeignet für eine Vielzahl von Tricks, darunter auch anspruchsvollere wie den Obi Ani oder den Senseless Spin. Die Robustheit des Schwerts sorgt dafür, dass es selbst bei intensiven Kämpfen standhaft bleibt.Die Bedienung erfordert anfangs etwas Übung, da alles über Gesten funktioniert. Let's be completely honest here - this is a plastic tube attached to a shorter metal tube with an LED and a battery in it. OK, so you do also get a sound chip with some very loud sounds, but it's a fairly basic bit of kit.It's a generic design and not a replica of any movie prop. It's also a lot slimmer than the movie ones. It does come with a roll of rubber tape to wrap the hilt. Mine fell out of the box without me noticing, and I found it on the floor days later, with no clue where it came from.I'm not sure about the claims of it being a dueling lightsaber. You could use it for a choreographed demonstation, stage show or very gentle play fight, but if you really went at it, it would last about three seconds. The plastic 'blade' is held on with one screw, so I'd expect that to be the point of failure, although I reckon a really good whack would shatter the blade.It does look cool when it's turned on, especially in the dark. It also sounds the part, and unlike some of the others I've tried, it makes the appropriate noises as you wave it about, and when it hits a solid object. There is also a button you can press to trigger the sound of a laser-bolt strike.The buttons is about where the fun started to go out of it, to be honest. It has the most complicated operating system in the world. About a zillion confusing modes and button presses give you fairly rudimentary control over the sound volume and the colour of the beam. That's also annoying - you can't exactly 'choose' the colour. You have to set the saber to scroll through the billion or so available colours, and press the button when you get to the one you like. To be fair, once you have chosen a colour, it does look really cool. The obvious red and blue are there, as is green. I set mine to a light purple, just because.As far as I know, you can't 'save' a colour. If you want to change the colour and later go back to the first one, tough. This is where an app would be really useful.The sounds are pretty good, and mine is quite responsive to movement. You have to hit it quite hard to trigger the impact sound, which is a bit worrying.I love science fiction, especially Star Wars. I'm a genuine nerd, and I have even been to conventions in costume. The opportunity to review a lightsaber was too good to miss, but even I can't think of a world in which I would pay nearly £100 for a plastic tube with a light in. For reference, a far more convincing, non-licensed lightsaber is available for just under £50.So, I'm afraid this loses a star for being WAY too expensive, and another for not actually looking anything like the thing it's supposed to be. It doesn't have to be a replica, it needs to have more detail - the hilt is just a metal bar. I'm not sure it really deserves a negative though, as it does light up pretty impressively and make generically realistic noises. So three stars.

A bit on the expensive side for 1 of them but surprised by how well it actually is i we expecting a scam type of thing but when it arrived the hilt was great and the saber itself is good over all its fun to have.
