I don't watch a ton of over the air television, but I like to be able to catch the local news once in a while or my local PBS station. Fortunately, both of those are fairly strong signals in my area and this antenna picks them up quite well. It doesn't get stuff in the next county like an attic antenna might, but I don't need that, and this is easy to install and isn't super noticeable like some antennas can be. If you just want a quick and easy way to get a few local stations, you can't go wrong with this.

Die Antenne funktioniert einwandfrei an unserem Fernseher. Die Empfangsqualität wird als sehr gut angezeigt, auch wenn ich die Antenne hinten in der Ecke im Raum befestige.Durch den Magnete am Fuss kann man sie leicht an einer Metalloberfläche befestigen.

I have three TVs. I got three similar but different antennas to try on them. It’s important to note that I’m in Southern California and almost all the television transmitters are on Mt. Wilson which I can see on a clear day. (Direct line-of-sight.) I also tried a short piece of bare wire, which was surprisingly almost as good as these miniature antennas.This antenna is passive and has an eight foot cable. That length matters because the positioning of the antenna mattered more than which antenna I tried. I connected each antenna in turn to a Samsung TV and had it scan for channels. With this antenna sitting in front of the TV, 155 channels were found. I tried putting the antenna on its side (horizontal alignment) and only 148 channels came up in a fresh scan. I then moved the antenna to a nearby window and 160 channels were found. With the TV showing a weak channel I moved the antenna around and easily found places where the picture broke up.Bottom line is that this antenna did just as well as the other two overall, so I see no justification for it costing $4 more.

After plugging this in and scanning channels, I'm getting a clearer signal than my previous antenna, including a particular channel that I would only sometimes get before. This is super simple, just requiring you to plug the coax into your antenna port on your TV. The cord is decently long to allow for placement nearby the television. It includes a stick pad if you want to stick it to a wall or other surface, but the base it well weighted if you just want to place it without the stick pad. I'm pleased with mine.

My wife complains sometimes about us not having cable, and therefore not being able to get easy access to live, local TV. I ordered this to see if we could pick up a few stations, hoping for a dozen or so.I was surprised when, after just screwing it into the back of the TV (via coax), I scanned and got 77 channels! Depending on your area and your exact setup, this will vary greatly, but I can at least confirm that it worked with no effort at all. Over 70 channels seems fine, but the instructions say to try it in different locations and see if you can find a spot where you get more. Perhaps with some effort I can get even more, or perhaps I was just lucky with my first attempt.Regardless, this is a very affordable way to get some additional stations for your TV. Unlike our streaming overlords, this doesn't come with any kind of monthly fee or upkeep. You set it up, scan, and you're ready.One note: when I set this up on my Fire TV (TCL brand), after scanning and seeing 77 channels, I couldn't see them in the "live TV section." When I went to the antenna option, it asked me to scan again - even after I did so three times. I turned the TV off and on a few times. Nothing. Finally I went into settings and told the TV to restart. Not a factory reset, just a restart. After that, the channels showed up fine, probably solved.Overall, very happy, definitely recommend.

This wasn't expensive at all but that has nothing to do with the fact that when we hooked it up to our digital tv and did the scan the way they said to in the instructions and nothing showed up. No channels whatsoever! My husband thinks its because we live at the bottom of a hill and all the wires and antenna signals go over the top of us, which sort of makes since. So since this didn't work for me and it may work for you I just rated it as average.
