Was not impressed with this shelf. It was rather difficult to assemble. Even though the size was adequate, the shelf is cheap looking, the wood pieces are not high quality (there are small imperfections in the wood) and the "ratan" shelves are made of a cheap plastic. The overall look is not attractive.

Upon opening the box, a lot of dust came pouring out so just be aware of that. There are two sets of instructions, one in Chinese and one in English. The English instructions came with pictures in color and it was very helpful. Just wish some of the photos were a bit larger cause I was squinting the entire time lol. Assembly is rather easy and it takes less than 15 minutes to complete. The screws can be secured with the wrench that comes with the hardware. The screws can be a bit difficult to place and they make a lot of squeaky noises when being secured. The rattan pieces are made of plastic. They do look a bit glossy and artificial when placed next to other rattan furniture but if you end up covering most of the surface area, only bits and pieces of the rattan will peak through and it'll look ok. One of the legs ended up being shorter than the other 3 so I was only able to place the foam stickers on that one leg. The foam stickers help to protect your furniture and they also run longer than the bottom of each foot so you'll have to cut and customize them yourself (yay! more work for the consumer!). I ended up using this for my skincare as I have so many bottles and this helps me to use my skincare in order. So you can definitely use this for more than just your coffee or kitchen supplies :-)

This is cute, but not quite the quality I want for my kitchen counter. It does, however, work great for extra mug storage in my cabinet. The “wicker” is plastic, which is probably best for its intended use as it may get wet. It was easy to put together. Good little piece for the price.

Somewhat disappointed with this. The product comes in pieces, mostly wood slats with some some hex/Allen wrench screws(the Allen wrench is included). Assemble is pretty easy, but you need to be careful. I did like the look of it, but other issues got in the way. For starters the screw holes are not counter sunk, so when tightening they do not go flush with the wood easily. And it you try to force them you can strip out the holes on the other piece you are attaching. Also once on the supports split very easily when being assembled. Once I had it fully assembled the 4 feet were not level, it rocked back and forth on a level surface, very unstable. It came with 4 rubber feet stickers, using only 3 and leaving one bare wood helped to stabilize the shelf.

I hesitated before giving the item only one star. I ordered one last month and was very happy with it. It is kind of cheap looking when you take the parts out of the box, but isn't bad once it's put together. In fact, I was so happy with it that I ordered another. And that's what led to one star. One slat was cracked. One shelf was discolored. One slat stuck out once it was put together and the item did not sit evenly one the counter. So the quality control isn't very good and the craftsmanship is lousy. Despite this, I am getting a replacement. If it is as bad, I'm going to try to return the first one, because I need two and I want them to match. UPDATE: the seller just contacted me to offer a full refund, so I'm changing the rating to 5 stars, because such great customer service needs to be recognized and the original unit I ordered was good quality. I'll definitely be willing to order from this seller again.
