I had high hopes for this to redye two 100% cotton dressing gowns.One was blue and I was going to use the pre-dye before dyeing turquoise; the other was orange and the idea was, after using the pre dye, to dye a vivid pink. (And had even bought the turquoise and pink Dylon dyes in readiness).In my experience, Dylon dyes are excellent. Hence buying their pre dye.I carefully followed the instructions and weighed the dressing gowns which were under 2.2kg (maximum load for a single pod of pre dye). And after doing so, nothing had changed with the dressing gowns. At that point, I should have cut my losses, complained to Dylon and asked for a refund. But, no, I thought I would try again - this time using a single pod per dressing gown. And, again, no change! (though the dressing gowns were nice and clean).I’m including two pictures - the first confirming the dressing gowns were 100%; and the second showing the dressing gowns remaining resolutely blue and orange.
