Using a naked portafilter and a Bezzera Strega lever machine, the coating really works against my results in the cup. The coffee flow never forms a cone shape due to the coating (not helped by the underside being completely flat either), but keeps dripping from basically everywhere underneath the basket. Since it's a lever machine, the end of the shot naturally has a lower flow/pressure, which makes the basket drip even worse (slow and big drops) and makes a big mess everywhere.Ironically, the coffee tastes worse too. Back to back shots of this and an old IMS Competition basket, 18 g in, 40 g out, in about 25 s, the crema is lighter (too light), thinner, and the taste is much flatter.And the coating itself? A gimmick, the puck is just as easily disposable with my old IMS basket.All in all, a waste of money unfortunately for my use case. Will be trying a VST next.

I’ve used the standard IMS competizione first on my Gaggia for a while, but then switched to this one. One needs to grind significantly finer (think the difference from a med-dark roast to a light roast in terms of grind size) but then: what a revelation! It’s super consistent and extremely balanced! I find it so much easier to get consistently great shots out of it. Only wished I’d gone for it straight away, way worth the additional 10€ in comparison to the Competizione

Lanse edildiği gibi puck ın hiç yapışmama durumu pek yok. Genelde bir kısmı sepette kalıyor. Kaplaması da kolay soyulacak gibi. Onun dışında güzel. çok daha ince öğütüm gerekiyor.

Passt perfekt in den Träger einen Lelit Bianca v3. Man merkt das es nicht gestanzt sondern mit Lasern gelocht wurde. Sehr gleichmässig und großflächige verteilung. Mahlgut wird gut benetzt. Um die gleiche Extrusionszeit zu erreichen musste Mahlgut minimal feiner eingestellt werden. Bislang sehr Empfehlenswert. (Kleiner Zusatz Bonus - der Funnel hat am original sieb eher streng gepasst - jetzt schnappen die magnete wieder erfreulich zu und der Funnel lässt sich leichter entfernen)

Adquirí el filtro por un video de James Hoffmann, y fue una gran decisión, pasó todo lo que describió en el video, fue necesario moler más fino, el resultado en taza fue excelente.

I wasn't happy with the stock Gaggia Classic basket, the holes seemed poorly formed.Hence I quickly opted for the E&B 18 gram basket (the biggest one I thought would fit in the stock Classic portafilter).I now get much better results.One comment is that this basket has a somewhat domed rim - which makes it a tighter fit in the grouphead, Consequently it needs a firmer hand to lock the portafilter in place than when using the stock basket.

Fits my ascaso uno without issue, works with 58.5 distributor, tamper, and puck. Nano coating works extremely well and the pucks come out in one piece, no issues. Only problem I have is that I ordered an 18g basket but it feels more like a 20g. Like as soon as I put 18g or less there seems to be very little pressure build up and watery. So I need to put 19g or 20g, maybe even 21g, just to have consistently good shots.

Auf dem Papier klang es so gut, nano Beschichtung, perfekte Löcher etc..Kaum zuhause angekommen - nach der Arbeit - mit großer Freude Mühle und extraktion versucht anzupassen.Nur: egal wie gut Laufzeit und Extraktionsmenge waren, ich habe es schlichweg nicht geschafft eine rugige und „channeling-freie“ Extraktion zu schaffen.Anscheinend bin ich da nicht alleine… Ergo: neuer, größer, besser ist nicht immer besser…LGFulleren
