I like the concept of having a see-through panel on my bags so I know what's inside them. This pouch perfectly fits my Sawyer squeeze water filter, the backwash syringe and my CNOC 2L bag. My backpack has a felt lining on this so the hook and loop system on the back of the pouch makes it so the pouch stay secure towards the top of my bag, making it very easy for me to get to without having to scrounge around to find it.

This pouch is great. I love that it is see-through, but not mesh. I’m not a big fan of mesh because things tend to snag and rip it. The Velcro fastens it well against the bag so it should not slip and slide around. The quality of this is top notch. The large is also a great size.I did knock off a star because I feel like $25 for this is pretty steep considering the entire sling bag I’m putting it in only retails for $100.

I switch bags a lot based on need so being modular is very important for me. This pouch is a really good size for admin items. For me admin items means things that don't really have a place in a specific place. The hook backing allows me place the pouch in a lot of different places in many of my different bags and cases. The pouch is very secure. The materials are very light weight but is very durable. Unzipping the bag with one hand is easy because the whole pouch is locked in place.

I wanted a pouch with hook and loop backing to add to my new Think Tank camera backpack. The top lid is angled and I felt there's some wasted space. This Fade View Pouch was the perfect size for that location. The hook and loop was strong and stays in place. Now I can add soft items to the top of the camera bag such as the rain cover or cleaning cloths in this Fade View Pouch.While it was perfect for my needs, the bag is well made. The only concern is the pouch is very flexible, so if you place any hard items in there, it will easily shuffle around in the pouch. Since I only plan on placing soft items in there, it's not an issue for me.

Pros: The construction on this bag is great. The product description is vague about the materials, but I think it is polyester. The materials and stitching are all tight and without and frayed or loose ends. The see through fabric is great. It is very transparent, but it appears to be strong and snag resistant. I tried a variety of tools, pliers, and screwdriver bit tips, and I didn't experience any snags. There is a single zipper that includes a zipper pull. Initially the zipper was rough, but as I used the bag I could tell that it was freeing up with use. The entire footprint on the rear of the bag is hook, so once you attach/mount it to a hook receptive surface the bag is firmly attached and not going anywhere.Cons: The hook backing is great if you want to mount it to a hook friendly surface, but if you just want to use this product loose the hook panel is frustrating. It inadvertently sticks to anything that likes hook ,whether you want it to or not. It would be a great improvement if the manufacturer would include a loop panel to cover the hook panel for just that reason...similar to the loop panels that come on some morale patches. I have some material, and I can make a panel, but it would be great if it came with the bag. Also, I review a lot of gear/tactical/molle pouches on Amazon, and this bag is pricier than a lot of other, similar quality, offerings...some with more features like dual zippers and segmented interior storage options.All that being said, this is a great quality product for loose general storage. Depending on your intended application, and price point, it will work great for you.
