Ihr Warenkorb ist leerDer Dung Beetle lebt in Kapstadt in der Overberg Region von Südafrika, sowie im De Hoop Nationalpark und im Addo Elefanten Park. Der Pillendreher Käfer oder Mistkäfer genannt, findet man in Südafrika nur noch in wenigen Regionen. Eines der Gebiete ist der Addo Elefanten Nationalpark, wo er jedoch nur in den Sommermonaten gesichtet wird. Die Tierforscher sind sich noch unklar, wo sich der Käfer in den Wintermonaten aufhält und sich versteckt.

I bought this as a holiday gift for my husband (who absolutely loved it and immediately hung it up in our half bathroom 🤦🏻♀️). My only complaint is that it took forever for it to arrive (showed up after New Years) and was impossible to track. if it wasn't for the terrible tracking and very late arrival, id have given this a full 5 stars.Otherwise, it was larger than I had anticipated but as I stated above, my husband loves it.

I thought this was a fantastic gift. My daughter nearly cried she was so tickled with it, but come to find out I just went to her house and she had all her bugs on the wall and it wasn't there - it's in the garage because the formaldehyde pack or whatever they put in it stinks so bad they can't have it in the house. Bummer.

I received my specimen in just a few days, and I am very pleased with it. It was just as pictured and is of high quality.I also ordered a hornwinged beetle, and it is just as professionally displayed as my dung beetle. Great additions to my collection!!Don't be hesitant.. Worth every penny!
