But there are some limitations.My journey into bluetooth devices headphones started with a cheap USB dongle, plugged into the front of my PC. I could barely sit on the toilet and sometimes hear audio, if my head was in just the right position, but even then it was hit and miss. For the longest time, I believed this was all there could ever be to a BT headset.I know there are different audio codecs, depending on both sender and receiver device, and signal conditions. If you are looking to boost your range, especially looking for new headphones, this can be a valid starting point. Some codecs will be more resistant to choppy connection, some will have less latency, some will have higher quality. This topic seems very complex, and there is not much information about it out there, so I would suggest not starting to optimize with this, unless you really care about latency.My next step was to buy a wireless card for my PC, which did not have a built-in wireless connection. I thought surely a dedicated device, and especially with the included antenna, would easily give me more range. But I was very wrong, and in fact it was notably worse than the cheap dongle. Even with Wifi turned off, and all the driver settings optimized, it had less reach and was more choppy, and no matter on the antenna orientation, sometimes it would cut out even when I was right next to my PC (which is under my desk).So what went wrong? I think the location of the antenna is of great importance. The USB dongle was nicely placed at the front of my PC, while the wireless card and antenna were at the back of my PC, facing a wall and a desk (with a metal frame). I don't know anything about how 2.4 GHz signals penetrate vs bounce off walls, but to me it seems that it's all about reflections, and less about penetration. So as a last resort, I bought this external antenna, because there was no way for me to place the PC in a different spot. I placed it on the side of my desk, with the magnet, antennae facing upward at 45 degrees. This was far from a direct line of sight to any area of importance, and yet, this worked wonders. I now had reach into my whole apartment, even the kitchen, which is always at least 3 walls away from my PC. I have almost full coverage in the living room, which is entirely covered by the bedroom (my PC is in my office). I have reach up into 3 floors down the staircase, and then outside it goes the aforementioned 200 meters, with a direct line of sight to my room (but not the window).So will this solve all your range issues? I still have spots in the kitchen where the signal drops, and it's not far away from my office. It's closer than the living room. The fact is just that the kitchen has at least 3 brick walls, no matter which path the signal takes. You should think in terms of number of walls, not distance. But for a good price, an antenna has good value. I haven't tested it for Wifi, but I'm guessing it would perform similarly. If you know there are 3 or more walls to cover, you probably want to look into active solutions, like a repeater.

Ik doe aan couch gaming met wireless controller aan pc, dus goede bluetooth nodig.- Magneet aan onderkant, waardoor ik hem kon plaatsen tegen de zijkant van de tv meubel, hierdoor niet prominent in het zicht.- Verbinding van zowel Wi-Fi 2.4 als 5 ghz werkt goed. Bluetooth 5.0 bereik ook goed, weinig inputlag.- Wordt netjes in prima verpakking en doos geleverd.- kwaliteit van materiaal ziet er ook prima uit.Nadelen:- Tot nu toe geen, maar ik heb hem net pas in gebruik. Dus ik kan nog niets zeggen over langere termijn gebruik.

Habe eine Antenne gesucht, die besser ist als die gelieferte Variante von meinem Mainboard.Verarbeitung: ist sehr gut, der Sockel der Antenne ist schwer und mit einer anti Rutschschicht. Kabel sind auch dicker als die Hauch dünnen Kabel der mitgelieferten Antenne vom Mainboard. Antennen lassen sich gut justieren und sind schön groß.Leistung: Ich konnte ein verbessertes WLAN Verbindung feststellen, sowohl in Latenzen als auch bei der Bandbreite.Sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt

An meinem Desktop-PC mit WLAN-Karte hatte ich bislang eine zwar halbwegs schnelle aber gelegentlich instabile Verbindung zur Fritz!Box (Router). Insbesondere bei Uploads brach die Verbindung häufig komplett ab. Ärgerlich!Ich vermutete zunächst eine Inkompatibilität zwischen WLAN-Karte und Router, wollte aber zunächst mein Glück mit einer externen Antenne versuchen. Und das war die beste Entscheidung, die ich treffen konnte! Die Geschwindigkeit zwischen PC und Router hat sich deutlich verbessert. Keinerlei Verbindungsabbrüche mehr! Die hier gekaufte Antenne sitzt mittels Magnet fest auf dem Desktop-Gehäuse. Ich bin mit dem Kauf sehr zufrieden!
