Mine arrived slightly damaged but fixable, This was a postal issue and not a product issue, the product itself is great and so much cheaper than the Janome one, and worked great for doing my caps, in daily use and worthy purchase

I haven’t actually used this hat hoop yet, but it does fit my B hoop on my Janome 10001 perfectly. I think it will work great.

Der Einsatz passt in den Rahmen Re20b und entspricht dem Original-Kappenrahmen HH10b (diesen wählt man dann auch in der Software aus). Funktioniert auch mit der Janome 550e. Die Öffnung ist ca. 14,5x14,5 cm groß, die bestickbare Fläche ist m. E. durch die Software auf 10x10 cm beschränkt. Die Bestickung von Kappen bleibt immer noch fummelig, die Befestigung des Kappenschirms im Rahmen ist aber eine wesentliche Erleichterung. Der Versand war erstaunlich schnell (aus USA). Preisgünstigere Alternative zum teuren Originalteil.The insert fits into hoop Re20b (so you need that hoop to use it) and is a generic equivalent to Janome original hoop HH10b. Works also with MC 550e. It holds the visor firmly which helps a lot, you will still have to hold down /tape or whatever to have the rest of the cap flat and in position.

This works perfectly with my machine. I was very skeptical I'd find something that would help me embroider hats successfully, but this does. Really the only downfall is that it doesn't come with any instructional materials (how to's, tips, etc.)

Purchased this to use with my 500e. it fits right in with my 5x7 hoop.

Fortunately this hoop is simple to use and easy to figure it out without the aid of instructions. It's very sturdy and will probably never need replacing if I can keep it out of my puppies reach.
