If you line up the holes correctly it fits perfectly for you Esee 4. If you don't nothing will line up. Move your factory sheath closer to the bottom so more of it will be sticking out below the molle everything lines up. The hardware that comes with your factory clip plate can be used to attach your sheath to the molle backing. It a very heavy duty piece of gear that should last a long time. Mine says made in the USA on the back. It's Esee quality through out. The strap that goes around your handle and the elastic that goes over your handle fits just fine if you just line up the screws correctly. Thank you Esee for another great product.

Bought it for esee 4hm. It fits the sheath fine, you just have to raise it to the middle sets of screw holes. Havent really used it yet, but it sits much more comfortably on a belt than the clip that came with the knife.

Diese Platte ergänzt die Scheiden aus Kydex und Nylonspritzguss von ESEE.Neben Paracord, Tekloks und anderen Adaptern gibt es diese Platte zur Ergänzung der Scheiden. So kann man es tief am Gürtel tragen oder an Molle-Schlaufen fixieren. Gleichzeitig wird das Messer durch die Klettschlaufe und das Gummibandhütchen zusätzlich vor Verlust+Hängenbleiben geschützt(ideal im Sprungdienst,etc)Gefertigt aus dickem Nylon, innen mit Kunststoff ausgesteift und mit Gurtband umsäumt. Isgesamt sehr stabil. Die Güte der einzelnen Komponenten könnte hochwertiger sein.Passt für ESEE 3+4lässt sich in 2 Höhen montieren.Meckern: Das Material ist nur Mittelklasse...ich hätte mir echtes Cordura+ Gurtbänder und Saumbänder nach mil. Spezifikationen gewünscht. Auch die Kunststoffplatte ist nach längerer Nutzung nun duchgebrochen(nicht tragisch)Fazit: gute Ergänzung zu den Scheiden-insbesondere wenn man sich mit Teklok und co nicht anfreunden kann( hoher Sitz) oder es an Weste/ Rucksack montieren möchte. Für die gebotene Qualität zu teuer.

I ordered this for my Esee 4 and haven't installed it yet, but I also ordered an Esee 3 that came with one and I'm wearing it right now. I'm pretty frustrated that the hardware was not included. It is $6 a set to purchase it through Esee and it clearly states in the description that it is included. I am, however, happy with the product other than that. I wanted to wear the knife in my belt, and, being in California, need some space for my shirt to fit behind the handle to keep it legal, a bit more than the clip provides. I immediately cut off the little velcro retention strap as the sheath itself provides ample retention for me and the strap only got in the way. The product seems fairly well constructed and does what I wanted it for.

Perfecto para acoplar al cuchillo esee 3 o 4. Práctico, cómodo y con el sistema Molle, puedo transportarlo según lo necesite.Acabados perfectos. Muy buena compra.
