I loved the flattering high cut legs of this suit but it wasn't the right suit for me, a little big on the top and "fattering" in the mid-section. I'm used to wearing two piece suits which work well since I can get a smaller top and larger size bottom. Think of traditional shopping when you would try on multiple suits to find the one that's your perfect suit? Remember that Amazon's suits have a liner so if it is not the perfect suit for your body, you can exchange for another size or style.

Hello ladies. I am going to give you my honest opinion of this Amazon Essentials Women's Halter One Piece Swimsuit size small. I am a 70-year-old woman and about 120 pounds with a very small bustline. This is a beautifully made suit with red, pink and orange colors. It's made of 80% Nylon and 20% Elastane that makes for a soft elastic material which I like. It is very high cut, so I need to wear swim shorts because of my old lady legs. Now the top is made very weird to me and other reviewers because it just doesn't fit right. Even though I don't have much to cover the gap between is way too much. I actually stitched it up a good inch to make it fit better. My photos are of the swimsuit after stitching. I also don't care for the halter ties because I worry that they'll come undone while swimming (parannoia) but I do love the open back. The description says the "FIT: Close fit that hugs the body" Well it does hug the body just not the bustline. I really think the suit is well made of nice light flexible material, reasonably priced but lacks correct bustline coverage. If you want to do a little sewing than I recommend this swimsuit.

I really don't like this. The material isn't very thick and does nothing to hold you in. I have a short torso and at 5'9 it was crazy shaped on me. I usually wear a 10 and large tops. I can barely get it to stay tightened over my chest. There isn't any coverage for them! I can tie the straps as tight as I want and then the thighs keep riding higher. If you have any belly, expect it to show. Maybe I got a defective cut? But I ordered up a size to make sure I would have room. I was hoping to just wear it out in the yard for tanning with different straps to alternate with my usual swimsuit. I don't think I can even do that with my 36DD chest hanging out. My kids wouldn't know where to look, it's so low cut. Maybe I have a weird body shape? The material is light and comfortable, but if you are looking for something that smoothes you out and tucks you in even a little, this isn't it. I pulled and pulled at the halter trying to get some chest coverage. I sized up to an XL and it still didn't give me enough coverage. Anywhere. All body shapes are different. YMMV.

Legs are too high for me and shows my C-section scars and my skin rolls that unfortunately hang over my scars so it’s not flattering for me at all.That being said, it’s a really nice quality swimsuit and it’s really soft and fantastic for large busted women (38F here) looking for a sweet V halter! I only wish legs weren’t so high.I love it from the waist up and would highly recommend it. I love that it’s black and I love the higher back. It’s so comfy and the halter straps are perfect.I’m not going to wear it even if with a swim short because there is a gathering in the tummy and with swim shorts it looks weird on me.I am however going to look at more Amazon Essentials because I am impressed with the quality and value for the money and this is my first Amazon item ❤️.

Love the color of this suit. It’s TTS, I got XS and Im 5’3, 32B, 33 hips. The chest part could be better though, as it is currently a little loose, tightening the neck straps only pulls the body up, yet the gaping in the inner part of the chest remains. I feel like it will be inflating when swimming. So I wish the chest had more compression.I really love the open back design. The butt has good coverage, but not too wide, which is good. The fabric is thick. The color has more of the dark red pattern than the pink/orangey colors. I wish it had more of the pink. But still very pretty. The low open back is probably my favorite part. Very happy.
