Amazon basics clothing has some hidden gems but this one is not it. Heavyweight yes, relaxed fit maybe not because the stitching along the waistline tends to fold up, which is really strange but I think it's because the stitching on the inside of it is so thick it pushes it back, I'm not going to pretend I know everything about clothing but that's just what I'm seeing and feeling. Again the stitching along the arms and sides are just so thick. The cotton blend feels ok, about average maybe a little scratchy or rough but that may just be the pure weight of it. The fit is ok, I got a medium, fits like a large and for a relaxed fit and heavyweight shirt that's how I would like it to be worn, also staying fairly close to my body as well. It's still cozy, but I wouldn't say I would throw this on to stay warm and relax. It's just ok to me.

I picked this up in a size Large for my husband, and it’s quickly become one of his go-to shirts. Right off the bat, the fit is true to size. It has that comfortable, relaxed shape that doesn’t cling but also doesn’t hang sloppily. It’s roomy in the shoulders and chest without looking oversized.I'm impressed by the heavyweight cotton jersey. It feels durable and substantial without being stiff. It was prewashed, so it came out of the package soft and hasn’t noticeably shrunk after washing. You can feel the difference in quality compared to thinner tees. This is something that will hold up over time, not get flimsy after a few cycles in the dryer.I also appreciate the little design details: the ribbed crew neckline holds its shape, and the chest pocket adds a classic touch. It's long enough that he can tuck it in or leave it untucked for a casual look. It layers great under flannels or jackets. Definitely a great buy for the price—reliable, comfortable, and well-constructed.

This Amazon Essentials t-shirt is everything you could ask for in a basic tee. The quality of the fabric is excellent. It's the kind of tee you put on and it feels a step above because it has a bit of structure to it. The shirt is constructed well and you know it will have a long life. The 100% cotton is soft, it is a nice weight and is not see through at all. It is definitely a relaxed fit and the length is the same as all my husband's other size large T-shirts. The white color is a bright white. This is a great find.

If you like very heavy-knit T-shirts, this is one to consider. My favorite casual shirts are colored Tees with pockets like these. I've tried a lot of them. This is one of the heavier-duty fabrics on any T-shirts I've tried. It feels very durable, yet is quite soft. I have no qualms about the fabric!I wear between an XL and XXL. I ordered this in XXL, but would have been fine with an XL. The cut is very oversized. I recommend you order true to size or possibly down a size. The cut is almost too generous, making the shirt feel large for the given size.Because of the oversized cut, I rated 4/5, but if you keep that in mind, I think you'll be happy with these shirts if you're looking for durable pocket T-shirts.

This Amazon Essentials heavyweight tee seriously punches above its price tag. The fabric is thick and durable, not stiff or scratchy, and the relaxed fit hits that sweet spot between roomy and not-too-boxy.
