Eigentlich ist das eine gute Idee, eine Tastaturablage, die unter der Schreibtischplatte verschwindet und das sogar noch im Eck. Und sie ist nachrüstbar.Leider ist die praktische Ausführung nicht so gelungen. Erst einmal ist die Ablage sehr breit und die seitlichen Schraubwinkel nicht anpassbar. Wenn also der Winkel Ihres Schreibtisches nicht zu dem vorgedachten der Tastaturablage passt, dann ist das ganze ziemlich unpraktisch. Bei mir war die L-Seite leider zu kurz für die Ablage und daher passte sie nicht. Ganz und gar nicht. Sie macht sich extrem breit und sperrig. Nicht gut.Ein Nebeneffekt aber, den man außerdem selten mit denkt: Mit dieser Ablage liegt zwischen Compi und Tastatur ein ziemlich großer Abstand. Den macht nicht jede Tastatur mit. Meine stellt - mangels Reichweite - dann die Arbeit ein.Und noch etwas ist zu bedenken: Die Ablage braucht ihren Platz. Je nach Tisch passen die Beine nicht mehr unter die Ablage. Elektrische oder manuell höhenverstellbare Schreibtische sind da eindeutig im Vorteil - oder ein entsprechender Bürostuhl...Also ging sie wieder zurück. ich hoffe, das hilft bei der Entscheidung

Several years ago, I used similar products and I liked the idea, I was never impressed by the quality or design of most of them. This time, I thought to try one more time and when the package arrived, I couldn't believe how heavy it was. When I opened the package, I straight away got very impressed by the design and sturdiness of the tray. It is rather large, thick and great quality wood. This tray is a properly thought out and well built product, not just an afterthought or lazy job. The clips are so good and could fit on to almost any thickness, I have two computer tables in two different rooms and they are of different thickness and this tray fits both of them perfectly. The small drawer is also a really good idea and comes handy. The tray is deep enough to put a standard keyboard with wrist rest and wide enough to also keep a mouse with wrist rest, so that's very good. Installation is a snap really and you can easily slide the tray in and out to your liking.Having said that, the sliding does not go all the way especially on the corner desk and somewhat comes in the way. If I am using a notebook to take notes during audio/video calls or try to reach to stuff placed on the table like headphone, microphone, etc., then it is a bit inconvenient at time. With the rectangular table, this is not as big a problem although the tray still does not completely slide in and stays in sight but it is bearable. I am planning to get another one so that both my tables have it and as it is available in two colours, that would be very nice.Apart from this minor quibble, this is still a great product, leaves so much room on the table itself, allows you to adjust table height to your liking as you are no longer fixed to one sitting position for typing anymore, even good for gaming with your keyboard/mouse based games. All good and still worth 5 starts in my opinion. Thumbs Up!

I ordered this for my desk at work in order to give me a greater distance between my eyes and the computer screen.The keyboard desk arrived in a large, quite heavy, box. This is testament to the build quality. Assembly was very straightforward and the shelf clipped very easily onto my desk. My desk is only very thin wood, but this keyboard desk will clamp onto very thick desks too.The tray glides in and out with ease, and I love the little drawer underneath which is very handy for a few pens/sticky notes etc, and keeps my main desk area nice and tidy.My only gripe is that the keyboard tray still sticks out, even when pushed under my desk, and can at times be a hindrance. If I’m working at length poring over paperwork, I find it easier just to unclip the add on desk temporarily. This would be less of an issue on a regular desk, rather than a corner one.Overall, I’m happy with the design and quality, and the additional space and distance provided.
