Superb pot - made even better by having a pouring spout. It’s quickly replaced my EverNew 900ml - I needed that tiny bit more capacity and this fits the need. The lid is a nice tight fit as well. Even better, my gasifier wood burner fits snugly inside and my alcohol stove goes inside that. I bought a purpose made DCF bag for this pot but it does come supplied with its own bag which seems to be made out of Tyvek - so it is still a lightweight and tough bag. This pot works as I want - big enough to make my dinner & big enough for hot water for my drink and to rehydrate my dogs dinner at the same time. The shape of this pot is a good fit in my rucksack as well. It’s roughly 110mm tall and 110mm diameter so it’s a good strong shape with the lid being pushed inwards when it’s sat in my rucksack. The butterfly handle also make this pot secure when stirring food on the stove or when pouring boiling water. The lid also has a small group of holes which allow steam to escape when the pot is on the go. No need to keep lifting the lid to check if the water is boiling. All round this fits my needs in a light weight package.

The is a great pot. Nope, it is not cheap. But I love it. It’s a piece of camping art!

I could not source the cup from European Union so I found one for sale at Amazon.jp. The price was very competitive, and it included taxes and customs and shipping fees. The item shipped to Finland in under a week without any hassle at all.I have used an aluminium cup and stove earlier, but it was 2x heavier compared to the Evernew cup and a lightweight gas stove (460g vs 230g).The lid stays in place very firmly. Handles feel solid enough. The cup has markings up to 900ml, total capacity to the brim is 1000ml so 1 liter.ECA522R seems to be the same cup as this ECA548. 548 comes with a paper-like sewn bag instead of a mesh bag, but otherwise it feels the same. Same size, same weight, same thickness (0.3mm), Made in Japan. The only difference as far as I can see is the box and accessories. The ECA548 model is a bargain at this price and I don't see any reason to buy the more expensive model just to get a different box and a mesh bag.
