Not the type of person to write reviews but hopefully this help you on your buying experience. I have bought so many items on Amazon and always good experience untill I bought this item. I Was alil bit concerned about reviews but I did bought the item.1. First item that arrived I was not able to get a single print out of it. Performed a cleaning process as instructions and while doing clean up found traces of color ribbons which I didn't have or used ( was using a black ribbon for testing good thing I didn't wasted other wise was a wasted money).Ok moving on. (New printer was ok n my way... good thing I keep untill new one arrived keep reading).2. After getting a replacement request a new printer arrived. Because the experience had with previus printer, I decided to start with testing cards. Same issues went thru roughly about 100 cards. And about 30 cards came ok and not perfect, some missing a letter or a random dots in some areas of cards.Again when thru the settings to see what could have been change everything seen to be normal as default settings but still cutting and damaging and not printing were successfull whit manufacturer settings. So decided to go one level down at a time from 10 to 1.At 9 still ribbon was cut and not a perfect card. Same as 8 and 7.(varnish level was set same as color.)Level 6 a lil bit better cards printing and ribbon still good not cut so far. Same as 5, 4, 3 (varnish level was set same as color.)Level 2. Cards printing but a random dot appear in every single card and some times on cards.Level 1. (Dont expect much do to level been low. I'll guess this it's normal since it's the lowest setting.)I did the same testing above 10 and from 10 to 15 ribbon was cut at about 3 to 4 cards printing (varnish was also at same or one level above printing even when lowered 5 levels bellow or 5 levels higher still did same cutting ribbons.).Level 15 to 20. Not printing and ribbon sticking to card and getting cut. (I think it's the pressure and temperature when printer trying to set into card.Overall this didn't work at all, again could have been I had a bad luck getting this printer. Or a batch of them came out bad from manufacture whatever the case its or was. I really disappoint do to the fact I have lost time and money on this.If your willing to spend money on this considering how much you gonna waste and if its beneficial to you or business. For all the issues and headache / frustration you will Have if you decide to keep printer, they should give the printer for free and sell each ribbon at a $100 since you will only be able to get a 30% of cards to be looking at a decent rate and which will depend how your client will react once they see a product which it's not what they expect. So you will have a 100% return on products from customers.Hopefully company realise to fix issues and will make a better product.See videos of product.

The printer seems to be reliable and works fine with a Mac. I had a hard time finding another brand that worked with a Mac. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The first printer I got showed up damaged. It took a MONTH to get a brand-new, defective printer replaced. A MONTH. The second one has worked perfectly.

I purchased it as used (one time) but like new. A few things inside the box were missing (power cord etc.). Unfortunately the cards gets very often get stocked inside the printer and the Single-Card Printing Mode is "eating" the cards but not printing. I used before the Evolis Pebble 4. Also the printing quality is even not as good as with the Pebble 4.Honestly, I went back to my Pebble 4.
