Was looking for replacement item for Saf-T-Tape that wasn't ugly green. I use this to cover my fingertips as I have a skin condition that causes my hands to crack and bleed often. Black @ 7.50 a roll is expensive but its better than green!

I normally use regular climbers tape. But don't like how sticky it is on my sore fingers when pulling it off at the end of a long climbing session. Also, it leaves sticky residue behind.I decided to try this stuff out because I hear it doesn't do that. I got two rolls for almost $16.00. A bit pricy opposed to my $1.50 climbers tape per roll. I didn't care if the stuff worked as it claimed.I used this on my first climb today, my hands were chalky, and this stuff didn't stick well. I had wrap it 720 degrees around each finger to get it to stay (twice around). That's twice the tape needed than with regular cloth tape. And this stuff slowly peeled and loosened to the point I had to rewrap the finger. I used allot of tape for one session. And I was only really wrapping a few fingers.Honestly, I wanted to love this tape. I wish It worked as it should but it just doesn't. It's hard to wrap, it doesn't wrap tight, and loosens or just peels off.Don't waste your money on this like I did. Or get it someplace else. Maybe it's old? I don't know. But it doesn't work well at all.

This climbing fingers’ tape works very well for me. It’s easy to use and stays on despite a lot of chalk use.

By far my favorite thing about this tape is how easy it rips, making it a breeze to rip with your fingers. This is non-adhesive but does stick very well to itself. For long sessions I might have to re-tape but it lasts pretty well for being very comfortable and easy ripping. It's not as stiff as other tapes but still supportive. The only negative is that it's not the cheapest athletic tape but I think it's worth the extra few bucks.
