Der hat von Anfang an schon gefeiert, jedoch komplett verbaut, musste Alles nochmal ausbauen und ölen, wurde aber nicht wirklich besser und das ganze für 25€. Nicht empfehlenswert

I bought two of these faller 180629 motors. Both produce horrible rattling noise, irregular and loud. There are two gear reducers: one you have access to, i.e. when switching from 15 to 4 rpm; and the other one with no access - this is where the problem is, so I couldn't fix it. Faller support told me the noise should be expected ("some are louder than others" - ??!!). And the tech could send me 2 new motors if I send him the bad ones ("shipping paid by customer" - ??!!). But he "can't be bothered looking for not noisy ones" (??!!). So its essentially replacing bad product with worse. Unbelievable attitude.BTW on the back of the motor it says Made in Germany, but the motors sound like they're made in SE Asia. Shame faller!!My rating for the product is -5 represented by 1 star (Amazon minimum).I do not recommend this product, stay away from it.PS: for my train layout I still needed two motors to power a carousel and a ferris wheel, so I fount a DC replacement gearmotor. Its not a direct replacement, but it fits in the space and it has a 3 mm D-shaft. And I can adjust the rpm by adjusting the DC voltage, no need to disassemble the motor or even touch it. And ITS QUIET!! So handy modelers - you may want to consider this path.Update from 1 year later (Nov/2024) - during actual installation and assembly of one of action kits.The wobbly gear reducer, as made in Germany, got stuck and caused the motor itself to stall and burn with a decent smoke and smell!! Great quality of made in Germany, ha-ha. And as I mentioned before, I transitioned to a Pololu DC motor, just had to make a custom mounting bracket.No rattle, no smoke, no smell! And my 4-year old grandson enjoys changing the rpms of the carousel to whatever he wants (I made him a remote control handle for that)!All the goodies, except its not faller made. Again, shame faller.My updated rating is -25. And my updated recommendation is - not only 'not recommended', but ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY, otherwise this faller motor may bring fire to your home, and you don't want it!!

I wasn't sure if this would fit in my N scale train layout, because it mentions HO, but it did fit in all my Faller and Vollmer building kits.

Der Motor ist gut, hält was aus, ist langlebig, steuerbar, alles bestens. Bereits früher gekaufte funktioniertennoch nach 20 Jahren problemlos. Leider benötigt man für ältere Fallermodelle (z.B.Geisterbahn) komplett andere Zahnräder als die beiliegenden, hat man solche, sind sie an der Drehachse nicht befestigbar.
