We own a commercial avocado farm in Hawaii. We bought a couple of these bags. They are well-made bags, seems like the manufacturer took some effort to make a good product; however, would recommend some design improvement to prevent avocados, dropping out the bottom of the pouch. The only way we could solve that was to twist the bottom of the bag, and cross the clipping mechanisms, but this method reduces the size of the pouch. A design improvement would be to have the pouch size remain the same, and design the pouch not to leak avocados, without the twist. We would be happy to test any new prototype at our farm and encourage the manufacturer to reach out to us to send us any design improvement, so we can test it and endorse it for future use and sales. Wishing the manufacture good luck. overall I think this is a nice product, but just wish it was a little bit more reliable. As when we’re on the ladders, we can’t have fruit dropping out the bags.

the material is good quality--very sturdy. The size is perfect of apples and pears and will easily accommodate a good sized load.

The fruit pickers bag was a lot better than I expected. Very well made and arrived very quickly.

Makes picking apples much easier with having two hands free. Cross-strap harness makes the weight not as noticeable. The only downside, was also a plus side for another reason. The opening with clips at the bottom for ease of emptying the bag (which was great) has a fault of apples makes their way out of it while its clipped "closed" while picking. Needs a better way to close the bottom while using.Otherwise an overall great product.

We have apples, lemons, and oranges among other larger fruit that we harvest from time to time. I used to use a belt-based bag, but it would fill quickly and get rather heavy on the waist, and the belt had to be taken off to empty.This picking bag is much larger, and because the weight of the bag rides on your shoulders it is easier to carry than the smaller bag. Because of the larger size, you have more time picking before returning to empty.The shoulder straps are quite comfortable, although I admit I had my doubts since they are not padded. On my first outing with the bag I picked a three-quarter full bag of lemons and was hardly aware of it as weight.If you are of average size the bag can be adjusted to the opening is a little higher or a little lower on your body, I liked having it just at the level of my sternum. It fit me well even though I had a little less play than others as I am 6‘4“ tall and no longer the string being I was 40 years ago.Emptying the bag takes a little practice, although again it works as advertised. When you unhook the bottom and let the fruit out, it can be a little hard to hold onto the bag before the fruit goes tumbling away. Ideally, set the bottom of the bag onto the surface of something you’re going to empty into, unclip and then stand up straight and the bag will empty into the container without any trouble.Can’t speak strictly to durability, as I’ve only given it a test run, but it seems sturdy and well-made and I will certainly update this if that proves to be otherwise.
